"36/12", The idea of giving it 12 hours of darkness, every other day. Anyone have anything on effects?

I feel like going to this in the middle of my flowering schedule. Just to try things out. If anything I'll be a lesson for all of you and might get some female pollen too.

I would think that this would make them hermie, if your plants carry the proper genes.

I wouldnt mess with the lighting schedule, during flower, until the last two or three weeks before harvest. This way if they do try to hermie they wont have enough time to show. imo

Apparently I spam a lot and my posts get deleted all the time, or I never hit send. Is there a rules page I'm missing?

But thank you so much for blowing my mind here. I enjoyed that 36/12 report. Even the information on planet ito and their 21:36/12 photoperiod. Either way my timer only has two settings and i have to "program" it every day to get it to work. I figure just having it set with 12 hours of darkness and turning the timer off every even day or something would be simple enough.

Also I've been all over 12/12 from seed. Now, I'm doing 36/12 from seed. Going to have to get my camera out and start up a journal. Or fix the driver for the webcam on my laptop, but 36/12 ftw!!!!! 12/12 from seed was lacking branching, and topping gave it that. 12/12 was also missing something else. 24 more hours of sunlight. I'm going to have to test this. See if I can finish plants in 2-3 months with heavy results.
