Big problem, we got a huge power failure in our town and had 36 hours without power, so my plant in veg got 36 hours of darkness, now im scared she will start blooming or got too much stress and will turn to hermie. any ideas?
Pray. Not much you can do but keep the lights on now and pray. Keep an eye out for hermie signs, but if it’s your only plant, ride it out and learn. If you’re in CA like me, damn PG&E is screwing over soooooo many growers right now. I got lucky and was in between grows during outages, got one going now though so hope they don’t come around again
Lost power for 10 days after a "bomb cyclone" few years ago. After a prolonged darkness the plants seemed ok until the lights came back on. They stressed out by dropping fan leaves. The plants consume whatever energy it can get and then most of the leaves wither and die.
But soon new healthy growth returned eventually replacing what was lost. Still ended up with a decent harvest but the recovery time set everything back several weeks.
well its been about 16 hours now she got her light back and she shows no signs of wilting what so ever, honestly looks like nothing has changed, wondering which signs i should look for if she changing to hermie and or wanting to flower? any ideas
