Hey Boomer, thats funny, I actually lost about 4 TOPS (main colas) from supercropping in the wrong area (I supercropped all of my girls like 4+ times, so, 4 aint toooo bad).

I was wondering how it was gonna effect the flower production being my strain is top cola dominant but only time will tell.

Looks like you did great with all of the ones that got there body chopped in half, considering.

ya well i think u supercropped later then we did but either way wat he did was not any appropiate method haha lesson learned but ya all i can say is were just happy the plants r still alive haha. im still followin ur grow to see ur results as well. always gotta experiment whether on purpose or accidnt

I have done a little bit of supercropping. I grew the same strain a couple times and tried different pruning methods. If you go to far, the overall yield will be less. The nutrients cant get by the bend. If you dont do it enough the plant grows back and you did nothing. If you get that happy medimun it works great. I say bend the upper third of the plant, dont tie it, let it start to grow back straight, then bend it again and tie it. It seems that by doing it that way the plant is able to still transfer more nutrients through the bend. I may be wrong but thats what happened to me.

Also when you make a bend and you have a branch thats pointing downwards cut it off. Most of them never make the turn back up and are a waste. Then when you have one point up, cut the leaf next to it. The stem grows better. The idea is to make the bend and have as many branches on the side as you can.

hmmm very interesting theory cruzer i havent seen or read anything like that before but makes ssense in a way and u learn from trial and error. i think were just gonna leave em the way they are for now and FIM the cuttings we took in veg. but thnx for the tip! im just ready for this grow to be over and start the next! we learned a lot and will have a better nute lineup for the next round and maybe even c02

This is a growroom we set up at my buddys pad i designed and put together with him.
We decided to do a similar SOG grow style of rotating crops with a clone/veg room and a flowering/bloom room.

We got OG kush clones from a fellow grower and plan on vending back to the co-ops since were all medicinal patients.

GAMEPLAN: were starting with 16 clones under a 1000watt MH lamp in our veg room then moving them after 1month of veg into the flowering roomand put 4 clones under each 600watt HPS lamp thats aircooled.
we also have mother plants we started with the original clones that we can take cuttings from after 2 months of veg and the mothers are under a 250w MH lamp and the clones will go under a humidty dome and flouroscent t5 lamp.
the flowering stage will take 2-2 1/2 months depending on the strain and trichomes which we will follow.

SETUP;

LIGHTS:
Veg room; (1) 250w MH for mothers
(1) 1000watt MH lamp for vegging clones
T5 flourscent lamp for clones

Flowering room; (4) 600watt HPS aircooled lamps

AIR/VENTILATION;
air ducting cooling the lamps in flowering room vented out the roof to exhaust heat. 2 oscillating fans wall mounted in each veg room and flowering room.

8000 BTU A/C window mounted unit that keeps the temp at 75-80f.

1075 CFM inline fan to evacuate the duct work heat.

C02; none yet were waiting for the first yield to upgrade to a c02 tank with regulator and PPM reader to keep at 1500ppm

WALLS/WIRING; white plastic visquen all around the room and made a wall to make seperate veg and flowering room.
then we made a seperate sub panel from the breaker box to supply power with a 10gauge wire to our lights running at 230v in the room. all lights hooked up to a timer to regulate the photoperiod.

SOIL/NUTES;
were using soil in 4gallon square containers and using a mix of FOX farm ocean forest and vermiblend with 15% perlite.
the nutes is gonna be an organic tea mix using the correct NPK ratio needed for each stage.
Veg is high in N with bat guano and mollasses mix.
Bloom is high in P with jamacian bat guana and molasses mix.
plus trace elements.

but enough talk for now heres sum pix of the setup and clones going now let me know if u have any questions. wed like to welcome all ideas and tips to help. rep points also appreciated.
Lookin Good! I am doing the same thing. What size is your veg room? What method of cloning to use?:bigjoint:

haha ya my face is cleared up for the most part and my eye is faintly red but doin ok just looks like acne now haha.

but i havent been to the room. i have him flushing with molasses and the buds are fattening up nicely he says and smells great.

prob choppin them down this weekend but my bday party is saturday night so well see...

the veg room is like 4'x8' roughly. we have two mothers under a seperate 250mh lamp and take cuttigns from them and use clonexgel with superthrive drench the rockwool cubes and put them in a humiddome under 24hr t5 setup

First Off, Outdoor Monsters were amazing. Just read this whole thread, its looking dope as fuck. Keep it up. Superthrive was the gateway to growing for me...... OG Kush..... I want that strain... Maybe Kandy Kush (Trainwreck X OG Kush). Im not sure

Really enjoyed the thread ! Im in the same boat and was really looking to maximize quality production and staying within my 215 restrictions of 6 plants. I plan to use soil as well with a Fox Farms ocean bland and light warrior as a base soil with subcools supersoil mix. The plan is to transplant seedlings in huge containers of 20 gallons . I was thinking on using a 600 watt for a veg room and a 1000 watt for budding . I want to grow trees !!!!!!!!!!!! I have a huge attic that has 9 ft ceilings and will make a great grow room. I was considering 2 mothers of different strains and 4 massive plants in the growing area. I was considering chronic or jack the ripper as strains. Anyone have some comments on these strains indoors with organics. I hope to just do teas and top dressing if needed but have some fox farms big bud and tiger bloom if needed. Really enjoyed your thread and was helpful for my plans in the future.

thanks guys ya my buddy is way chill and we have a written contract for the shit anyways. so im well off. and the molasses flush is fattenning up the buds and hes flushes prob everyday or as needed for watering.

thanks wonderblunder ya the outdoor grow was a huge lesson and turned out better then i planned so i was stoked with my 6.8 pounds haha;
supertrhive def seemed to play a roll in it.

and bigbuds4u- im not sure wehre u live or how ur attic is but remember heat rises and u mite have heat build up issues in the attic plus most attics arent insultated well or at all. so ull wanna do that to save urself money on AC and temp control. plus usually theyre durty and bugs pests can b a huge issue. so id see if u have another area possible? but ya indoor trees are sick. i had changed my route and found a loophole to get patient recommendation sin my county signed over to me since im a vendor to the clinics and its legal so ill be doin a hydro setup instead of growin soil trees

I use my attic to grow in and the best advise I can give you is insulate very good. The better you insulate the better your room will be. To heat or cool my room I use an ac vent that use to go to my bathroom And then I have a exhaust fan hooked up to temp controller that usually only runs in the middle of summer and a seperate smaller one on my lights. I also have done very big plants and for those I like to use really heavy duty rectangle containers that I put wheels on cause otherwise it can be a real bitch moving them around. And by the way I think you picked 2 pretty good strains for a tree grow and in general. K enough of this thread jacking :bigjoint:

haha ya ive been so busy no time for the hash we havent even finished all the manicuring yet its been crazy. but ill get it done sooner or later. i need sum advice tho;

the orignal fan leaves and other leaf cut off the night of the harvest we kept in a ziplock bag in a cooler with ice. bad problem was the ice melted and the ziplock i guess still let mold grow inside. so now idk if i should toss all that leaf shit or just seperate out wat doesnt have the mold on it?

I would say toss the moldy shit dude. If your using a 5 gal bucket with your bags and you use about 4 ziplock bags of shake like they say to use then you are lookin at about 2 or 3 grams of hash. (thats my results with shake) See what I mean, toss out a half a bag of moldy shit and it ant gonna make much difference.

Any bag with mold in it toss because is easily transferred to other stuff and is really bad for your health.

ya thats wat i figured. damn oh well it wasnt good quality trim anyways. lesson learned! hope others learn from me as well.

i have good quality small ass shake in my ziplocks unmolded so ill use that shit thnx guys
