385w LED/CFL Stealth Hybrid Grow (CoCo, Smartpots)

Hey guys! Here's a small update for ya! So its Day 26 fs for my FCJ. She's lookin pretty good and even has a slight danky smell up close. Here's some pics of her:





Like i said, she seems to be doin good now. Noticeable growth almost everyday. Been feeding her every 2 days, and am increasing it to daily starting today. Been giving her 1/2 str nutes for about 2 1/2 weeks now. just gave her a feeding of 3/4 str and will see how she takes it. Just from the last feeding 2 days ago she's drinking about a cup or two more. I've been meaning to grab some CalMg from the store but i haven't had the opportunity to make the drive. Don't see any signs of deficient anyway. Expecting to see signs of flower this week!

As for my Green Ninja, she seems a bit in trouble! I'm worried about her coco! This morning i gazed in and noticed there was some fuzzy shit on the top of the coco, as well as what seemed an abundant amount of little white specs all around. Not sure if its mold/eggs but its worrying me! Any advice on this? Also, she bent over during a light water and is just now starting to work her way up. I didn't bother trying to stand her up. idk why. here's some pics if you can make em out.




In this pic above you can see what i think is the "mold" in the bottom right corner and in the very top middle of the pic.




Any advice or suggestions? Hope you can make it out!

You allway's have to gauge your MINUSES...ie problem's of grow..add one week or a loss of yield!! my last grow was a total of 15% loss due to screw up's!! allway's go by flouresence...smell feel(squeeze) and color's in bud for "time"!! Your comment's are true but they multiply exponentionaly..so be careful and grow slow and sure! jack

Glad to hear from you too!! Had hard drive problem's...and then my harvest was insane even with help was a real job 5 1/2 hour's finally said fu it and just placed three plant's hang had no room or container's and certainly the 8X8 room was way to small to dry!! Had to give kidney stoner a three week flowering LSD so I could make the grow room into a drying space with the AC....hope you have same problem my friend!! jack

Well jack, with only one plant currently, (the other im hoping makes it, but not sure what to do anout the mold), I dont think ill be spending 5+ hours in trim glad to hear it was a good harvest! Kidny is one lucky sob to have you within proximity!

Thank's!! But that's now every time improve's... need some genetic's??Have some available to me if you do. But my best LSD at 44" lsted and lollypopped yielded 14 1/2 oz's dryed weight!! not bad so... get siera national science 217 and spray the bitch mold will cease no need to cut out...just remove when you crop and water hash the moldy part's as this will be fine!! Well, my plants not molding, I think I figured it was actually fungus of some sort, and I believe I was/am becoming a victim to fungus gnats. Hopefully I can resolve the issue sooner than later. I read that theyre a problem with a moist top layer, especially in coco. Not exactly sure how to remedy yet, seen lots of would be solutions, none I can bring myself to settle on tho. But, im thinking of turning my cab into an ebb n flow 12/12 chamber. Have 5 girls at a time, usually from clone. Just another idea, but that would help with my gnats a bit too. What ya think jack? 5 big girls every 2 months vs 1 every few Weeks on a perpetual cycle? The ebb n flow wont work too good with perp, seeing as theres multiple stages of nutes correct? Idk, pipe ideas, or should I say vape. Just got a magic flight launch box from the gf for my bday!! Yay me lol

Use benificial nematodes to take care of problem scan mask sell's on line add to gallon of water wait an hour and water as useual and they will hunt through the soil and kill the larva and stop the cycle....any water they will live in even sink's but will not bother plant's after treatment stay's alive in soil!!jack

Hey man I had some bad gnat problems too. I took the sticky fly trap tape things and set them on the ground around the pots and on top of the soil. I found that they caught a lot more gnats this way than when I had them hanging vertically. I also waited longer in between waterings temporarily. I let my plants get really dry, not dangerously dry, but just enough for them to begin to wilt, droop. I did that for three straight waterings, and they disappeared. I have also been told than an inch or two of sand at the top of your pot will do the trick.

Hey all, Quick update time! My Fruity Chronic Juice is doin just fine, has many hairs all over the place! And counted about 10 different bud sites. she's still on 1/4 nute schedule, will be bumping her up to around 1/2 next week with some doses of PK 13/14 as well. Gave her some CalMg with this last batch of feed, so about 2 feeds worth, even though she hasn't shown signs of a deficiency. She's getting tall now, shes sitting right at a solid foot tall, and thats +1 1/2" from last night! Ok, so here's some pics!

My second lil girl, the green ninja, is doing quite well also, transplanted her a few days ago and shes taking it very nice, has plenty of roots shooting out the bottom of her #2 smartpot and i expect her to take off in the next few days. Was actually worried, seeing as i transplanted her twice in 2 days haha. The first time i didnt set her in enough and she was just too tall sticking out, so i had a fellow grow bud help me scoop her out and set in better. I think she actually appreciated it! Anyway, here's some pics of her, shes still on 1/4 TNT and hasnt shown sex yet (fem seed tho).





Looks much more sativa than my FCJ! kinda excited to see how she grows!

As far as future plans go, I'm almost finished with my new cab, had some hang ups but should be done this weekend! Not much of an upgrade, just a bit more room to work with, same lights and basic ghetto setup haha. just the way i like it! I really should start a new thread, but fuck it, maybe later!

Hey all, been a while I know! Just wanted to stop by and drop a few updates! My FCJ is in week 3 of flower and looking pretty good! My Green Ninja is just about to start budding at week 4 of veg. Put together a new cab as well! Was getting a TAD bit crowded in the bins... haha, o well, on to the porn!

So waht ya think? I hope they weren't too stressed from the few weeks of 90+ during the day... they seem alright, and no real signs of stress (yellowing, etc.). Just like the reassurance of yall!

Hey RIU, back again for an update! Been about a week and a half and they've grown a bit! My Green Ninja is in flower now, but its only been about 4 days! Just gave her her first dose of bloom nutes. It appears I may have some sort of Cal deficiency on my FCJ, yet idk how when ive been supplementing. It may also be the newly added Pk 13/14. Didnt feed her that today, so we'll see if it gets worse. you'll notice some brown spots on a few of her newer leaves. But she's swelling daily! So, so far, so good! Here ya go!

These are of my FCJ. The last one is just demonstrating her sticky ass. Was a small bud from the bottom i was squeezing for density, smell, etc lol.



And these are my GN. She's a lovely green and kinda smells like DANK ass Coffee so far. Much more pungent than her older sister. I really like her branch structure too.

Hey all! Well, my first harvest has been officially accomplished! My very first girl is now curing in jars after about 10 days hanging whole. I'm sure I didn't accomplish everything exactly correct, but I'm very proud of my efforts and end results. I managed to yield ~37g of dried bud minus the ~10g of bud affected by early stages of mold which i used to make some QWET, which yielded about 1.5g of some decent oil! I'll be running the remains thru a Butane Extractor to make some BHO this weekend, we'll see how that comes out! Huge fan of the oil now that I've smoked some!

So, to sum up, my first grow, first harvest, first extraction! I'm fairly happy with my results and plan on only improving! My small space is obviously very limited, but there will be expansion in the future, as my nick indicates, i am passionate about the field I have decided to enter, I may be relatively new to it, but I'm looking forward to a life that I can feel proud about. I dont see this as "growing pot", i see it as improving my awareness and connecting with the world around us. I'm not just a cultivator of cannabis, i'm a seed myself, planted in the realm of the living and growing with the same purpose as the rest of life around us, to co-exist and connect with everything around me, to contribute to the bigger picture, to brush my stroke on the great canvas of the unknown and to finally discover what the meaning of it all is... =

Thanks for joining me on this journey, and thank you for guiding me with all the knowledge that is this and other forums. We are the hope for mankind, weather they know it or not! I'll be here for a while and can't wait to get to know all of you better, while at the same time getting to know the wonderful life-forms we raise everyday!

I'll continue using this thread as a learning experience and a reference to look back upon, so i'll continue to post pics and update my grows, it IS a perpetual garden so I'll always have a lady or two or three growin' up together.

Alright, enough non-sense, let me introduce you to my new girls and update ya on my oldest! Ok, the smallest one is my newest seedling, a cheapo I bought to continue my trials, she's a Arjan's Haze #3 (Fem) and im looking forward to her smoke! The second biggest is my Green Ninja clone i snipped from her mom the oldest girl that is currently in week 7 and doin alright. She's got some red stem goin on and i'm not too sure what the deal is, most of the branches with buds are drooping, not sure if its from weight or from weak branches! Part of me leans towards the latter, but maybe someone could shed some light! I got some samples of nutes from my local hydro guy that ive been experimenting with on her, they are all Humboldt County's Own Brand and are Gravity, Snow Storm Ultra, and Crystal Burst. They say use in conjunction with each other so i have been. Noticed a bit of burn so I'm using them more sparingly. I'm still feeding the Oldest Girl with my remaining Hesi Nutrients, but am quickly running out and have made the swith to Lucas Fomula for the rest of my ladies, mostly because i have to order Hesi online... The GN is a mostly sativa strain so she'll be going for a few more weeks.

Alright ya'll, thats all i can think of right now, pretty stoned (of my own stash finally!) so im sure ill remember, thanks again for everyones contributions!
