Um no. Hold ofF a bit and give it a couple weeks to warm up. Feed summer nutes. Have you tried Heavy Harvest?

Great stuff! I dont promote any Advanced Nutrient product but this. Heavy Harvest Spring,Summer and Fall Dry Ferts. Sprinkle a half cup every 2.5 weeks and feed just water and some additives if you want. I see amazing results with that. Stalks like soda can man. Knode spacing like 1/2inch all the way up the plant. Strains... Mr. Nice Guy.

So I'm not the only one that is having issues with plants flowering outside already too, in SoCal anyway. I wonder if a lot of people are experiencing it?

Ya I hope the weather does warm up. I've had 3 clones for about a week now under 24 hr light. I'm planning on putting them outside. When is a good time to do it? I live in Socal.

Its the fault of the grower for not Photoperiod acclimatizing their clones.

You guys in Cali pickup clones at clubs and think you can just put them outside. But it does not work that way at all.

You have to think about the lighting that the clones were under. What if they were grown with 24 hour lighting or 18 hours even.

When you put them outside they will sense a large change in the daylight hours and it will trigger flowering.

If alot of people are having problems with early flowing is because alot of people are making mistakes out of ignorance.

ive been keeping mine on 24/24s for about a week or so depending on the roots. i put mine in jiffy pots and just wait for the roots to start growing out, then plant.

Xare: so what would you suggest so that doesnt happen??? gradually change the lighting before introducing outdoors???

Exactly right.

The only sure way to avoid early flowering is to provide a small light source for a minimum of 18/6 until the normal beginning of flowering. About August 1st.

This year has been very unusual. Make notes. You may need them in coming years.

Photopheriod acclimatization of clones means that you synchronize your plants indoor lighting with the natural lighting outdoors on the day you intend to plant.

The goal is to minimize the change in lighting times when you place the clones outside.

For example. If you plant around May 20th, there is 15 hours of light outside on that day (for my location). So your inside lighting should be on for 15-16 hours a day.

What you are trying to do is keep the plant on the verge of flowering while still being in the veg state. You want to put them out as soon as your local conditions will allow. But you also want to keep them in the vegetative state.

Its important that the light comes on when the sun comes up, and the light goes off just after the sun goes down. ( for your targeted planting day )

Start planning for your outdoor planting two or three months ahead of time. Move your mothers from your veg room on 18/6 lighting to an outdoor prep room with 16/8 lighting. Then root your clones under this lighting schedule and grow them up to the size you want to plant them.

All this is done so that the day you plant outdoors the clones are synced up with the Sun.

If you follow this lighting regimen you will not need Supplemental lighting in the Garden to keep your plants in Veg.

Clones that have a chance to go outside should NEVER be under 24 hour lighting. The clubs know this... but they make their money on repeat customers. Not Self Reliant ones.

I told my cousin what was said in this post but he insisted on putting a clone that was under 24hr light for 7 days outside today in a 5 gal pot with ffof soil.
