allmix is too hot for seedlings and most autos in the early stages, light mix will run deficient very quickly.

you could put a layer of allmix on the bottom then lightmix on top, put the seed in the light mix then top dress with allmix as it gets older.

my biggest piece of advice would be not to grow autos, but if you have your heart set on them then be careful because one small mistake at any point of the grow could seriously harm your results

I'm going to be just want to get a little more experience.
You cant beat experience Markob.I grew autos when i first started growing, i grew them for 2 years before going photo.I liked the short weed to seed time.
Have you tried a continuous grow with them yet?
I always used a 11 litre pot,and coco /perlite to ensure my seedlings got no nutes until they needed them.

idk who the hell is going around telling people autos are "easier" or like training wheels for photos or something.. The only time autos would be "easier" is if you literally are too dumb to work a timer..

Now other people have other reasons (timing etc.) but all experience is going to do is make you more experienced with autos..

And you would hardly yield enough to really make it worth your time in 3L.. I ran a few in 1 gals and I think the small pots was part the problem.. Good luck with whatever you choose!

he has a tent all he has to do is get a timer. il never do another auto again no control. Marky if you do autos throw a photo in at the same time and veg it until you finish the autos and then flower the photo (3 month veg big yield just tie her down a lot)

I've been using BioBizz light mix for a while, four grows so far. I normally get a month or so out of it before I add nutes. I don't think it runs out as quick as you think. I do like the idea of mixing some all mix and light mix. I'm almost out of soil so I might consider doing that on my next grow!
