Thanks man! I have noticed popcorn buds in the undergrowth and plan on doing a perpetual harvest like you recommended. What method do you use to determine when to harvest? I have a microscope that I've been looking at the trichomes with. I'm thinking I'll flower to 55days +... I'm getting excited .

Yeah good work man, you'll get better results with a perpetual harvest, those undernugs will thicken up with an extra week or two.
I use a 100x microscope to check trichs as well. Depends on what high you like as to when you chop. I like a heady but eventually sleepy high so I chop when there is about 15% amber and the rest cloudy. The more ambers, the more couchlock and nausea inducing it gets

The handscope is starting to drive me crazy... so hard to hold it steady and see those babies. I inspected all the plants 30 mins ago and all the trichomes are clear as can be. I prefer an energizing euphoric experience so I will probably try to harvest when they've become cloudy and just start to turn amber... dont know how easy that will be though.

Today is the 37th Day of Flowering... I'm not facing branches getting too heavy and falling over. I've resulted to tying the plants up a little for extra support. I think it's a result of my cramped grow space.. I guess its a good problem to have? Anyway here are some money shots. Notice the grimace is extra crystally and sits directly under my independent UVB bulb. pics order (Grimace, Grand DaddyP, Super Lemon, Northern Lights). The last picture is of the grimace starting to turn a little purp. strain info says grimace will be ready at day 55. Northern Lights Day 45-55, Lemon Haze 9-10 weeks. and Grand Daddy 55-65 days. I have a hand held microscope that I evaluate trichomes with and will go with that for my final decision. Peace

Day 43 of flower. Not sure where my previous post is from today... anyway I'll use diff pics cuz it prolly another server issue and it will show later. I used 4ft bamboo sticks to hold up my plants, this morning when i woke up a lot of branches had fallen over it scared the crap out of me... newbie moment. Anyway I used some twine from my local hydro shop and they are all better now.. in the process I broke a branch of the northern lights (below average size) and put the cola on a plate and used my microscope to get some really good zoomed in shots. Got the 24 Hour inspection notice posted on my door. Had to flip the room and move my plants over nightn (it really is a ninja shower op now). i bound them tight with twine and moved them to a friends house that is only a couple blocks away. I hope the photo period isn't too messed up.. I only was able to get m LED's to his house... we will see what happens. Let it be known I'm completely legal and not doing anything against the law. My inspection was mandatory for all tenants for the new year... I just function under the impression that privacy is the best.. the fewer that know the better.

Today is day 53 of flower! Back up and running like normal. Pulled the northern lights of Day 48 of flower. Made some bubble out of it too. Don't have a ton of pics because I was still scrambling to get everything back in order. Some quick shots. Peace

Day 57 of flower! We are down to one survivor, Super Lemon Haze. I'll plan to pull it on day 65... still looks too ripe to me at the moment, pistels just starting to turn.. I look at the trichomes in my microscope still mostly clear and cloudy. I pulled Grimace and Grand Daddy on day 55. Used my yield lab for drying and now have them in jars. Made bubble out of all the trim. Got pictures of just about everything. Lastly I'll add that I think hempy bucket is the way to go...check out the root shots of my set up at the end. I used river rocks to fill my res and it looks like it worked extremely well. lol and lastly I should add I've been splitting the harvest this time with my mentor/neighbor who saved me when i had to move them. We split it at harvest by way of eye... after 3 plants I'm sitting just above 7oz. dried so X2 for yield. Peace!

Forgot to add the best pic.. After shaking my sugar leaves in a 70 micron bag w/ dry ice. I use a hammer style pollen press to punch it into 1/2 to a gram cubes.
