3x3x6.5 grow tent

ok im about a week away from switching my plants from 18/6 to 12/12, ive just been getting everything i need.

so far i have a carbon filter w fan

timer

600 watt air cool hoodlight


fan speed controller

and a shitty booster fan that came with my set up.can i use this fan instead of another inline fan? also what else do you guys think im missing?

You could try either fan, but you need to monitor your temperatures under the light. A 600w HID in a 3x3 spot will require adequate air replacement to keep your tent cool. If the smaller fan isn't cutting it, you'll have to use one with a higher CFM rating.

How much Cfm u think I will need for this size tent...

Why do you need a 2nd fan? In an area that small, the exhaust fan should be able to pull into the tent air passively (no intake fan). What is the CFM rating of the fan that your carbon filter is attached to?

You dont need the fan speed controller unless the fan is too loud or creates too much negative pressure in the tent.
