one day you kids will learn,the experts,like jorge cervantes as and example sell the same thing,ive seen both jorge jervantes videos,ive read his cannabible,the 2 videos were the crappiest of his work,the cannabible was good for begginers but it was not new information,it was information thats been around for years.Every one says im full of shit becuase im telling people there buds should be ripe at harvest,i guess that just makes no sense to people these days,the old schoolers are tired of the same old question of are my buds done,what color trichomes should i harvest with,i tell them trihome colors dont matter,because they dont if you guys had any growing experience you would know that its not about colors but stages of life,im tired of explaining this to you little kids,grow a plant watch the trichomes not paying attention to the colors and you will see what the true method of harvesting at peak potency is until then belive the shitty overgrow chart,i was on overgrow when that chart came around,i thought it was BS then I think its BS now,late noobs

Second, im not a kid, and have 4-5 years of growing experience.
Third, try being nice instead of a jerk and people may listen to you.

Look at post 11 and 13..i told him to stop posting non legit info,cause he was,how is that being a jerk,i didnt even insult him like hes done to me several times in other threads. haha i been harvesting buds all around this week but not on 4/20 unfortunately. however, i did germ a seed, it busted thru the soil today. g13 labs purple lady, worth a try.

Ok harvesting now is fine....the buds look ready to me, they could ripen for a week but either way not much of a difference at this point considering the calyxes look all swollen and the pistils are all dead meaning not much new growth is going on at all.

As the thread starter stated it is a matter of personal preference, and even Ed Rosenthal says in a few books that the cloudy trichs are good for an uplifiting happy "high" and amber trichs are more suited to an idica lke "stone" I personally prefer a high to a stone, as does he thats all, as far as the perfect ideals i was talking abou, you answered that question yourself with the italicized part of the quote by saying it is common knowledge on something that is opinion based that is your opinion and this entire thread you have been raving about his PERSONAL choice.Perfect ideals,wtf are you talking about,
its common knowledge to real growers that harvesting when the bud is ripe is best,its the same concept as picking fruits and vegetables,
would you pick a tomato when its green becuase somewon tells you its done,no you wait till it turns red and is fully ripe

I have a strain ive been breeding for the last 5 years,specificly for body high,and your telling me harvesting it early with cloudy trichomes will give me a sativa type high,even though its 85% indica,your full of shit,and so is ed,and jorge.

I understand that most of the high is dependent on the strain and that if you harvest a full-on indica early, it's not going to give you a soaring head rush. I'm saying, lay off this guys thread. You can smoke banana peels and get high so there's no point in perpetuating this argument any longer. Some people smoke premature bud and some smoke over-ripe bud (if there is such a thing). Chemically the potency of the bud will be determined by its genetic makeup and not when you harvest, so long as you harvest in that window after THC is actually being secreted you will likely be satisfied.
The key concept here is that you cannot transform an indica strain into a sativa strain by harvesting cloudy trichomes. You have some lee way in terms of minimizing or maximizing CBD/CBN conversion by harvesting at certain periods but not enough to justify a chart and a religious fundementalist following.
The chart is a LIE; not unlike our understanding of our existence and purpose in this universe.

Obviously were full of shit for thinking that genetics play a role, I'm a bad seed,I'm opinion biased,the chart is perfect,its so help full that's why there are about 15 threads a day asking,are my plants done yet?Sativa and indica it does not make difference you can harvest early and get sativa head high from and indica,everything ed rosenthal says is true,he knows all there is to growing,hes the best in the world,harvesting potent plants is about what color your trichomes are not whether the plant is ripe,does that sum it all for ya
