4 30g pots too much inside?

The goal is to yield as much as possible but I don’t like dealing with tons of plants. I currently have an 8x8 tent with two 1000w hps lights. Right now I have one plant under just one 1000w light which is in a 30gallon pot and very massive and harvesting in a few days. My question is would doing 4 of these work well? Which would be 120 gallons total, or would I be better off doing them in like 20 gallons? I have 8 in my veg tent right now but they are small and crowded. Thanks for any advice or help on this!

8 in 10 gallon pots topped twice vegged 6 weeks should give you over 4. 3+ for sure with tons of fuck ups.
Not sure how much veg time you want to work with, but there is a grow thread on this site where the guy grows huge plants and only 12 of them. Check him out, shits dope!!!!

I got 2 months veg time. I’m doing 8 this cycle but it’s just too much to take care of and the veg tent is only 3x6 so it’s crowded with 8 plants in 2gal pots.

So you'd put 2 under each 1000 watt. Im just not sure if you might out grow your foot print. Whats the diameter of a 30 gallon? 24 inches?
Im not sure what stain you run, but a 2 month veg is a monster amount of time indoor. If you hit all your marks and run perfect and know your strain then 5. 4-4.5 on a shit grow where one misses all their work days and thinks all they have to do is water the garden.

You have any pictures of your plants, how big do they get? What sort of yield are you getting per plant? Do you have any side lighting? Are you running CO2? I push mine pretty hard with warm temps and CO2 and lots of side lighting in addition to the over head DE HPS. If you need to water more often than once every 24 hours at anytime during the plants life cycle then you should get with a larger pot. I hear you there. I had 15 going at one point last time. A lot of work. So I'm doing fewer also. I just upgraded from 10 gal to 15 gal pots since they have the same base dimensions.

Can’t get pics right now but it’s just the two 1000w how lights no co2 or side lighting. This is my first run with this 8x8 tent so can’t comment on yields, just know that I want 3 pounds at the least. Only got one plant going rn in a 30gal pot but it’s so massive after it’s 2.5 month veg. Temps around 78-80 with 40-50rh. About to harvest that one Tuesday.
