Thanks for your response. I've got 2 under it already, although I've been thinking, it makes more sense to capitalise on all available space in each grow.

In a 2.5x2.5..
I was able to grow 3 in 5gal cloth pots last run.. (10oz)
Next run I tried going with 2 in 5gal pots..
Was only able to grow 1 plant..
With autos.. kinda depends on how big THEY want to get.

FACTS
I would say it depends on if you are trying to maximize each plant or not.
I have a 3x3 tent and a 7x7 room with 4x4 grow space. 1 Photo plant (vegged 2-3 months) fills the 3x3 tent. The 4x4 space, 5 LST Autos fit without to much touching. 1 each corner and 1 in the middle.
I prefer to not have plants crammed together for easy of operation.
