Looks fantastic!

Seriously, you had to raise the light? Was it bleaching? I have mine like 4-6" above the canopy and the plants seem to love it... I mean both the 432w and the 240w use the same 3w diodes. Anyway, you're killin it bro. :weed:

Actually, I wish I had (2)240's for coverage, 'cuz I feel like I get better coverage on the outside when I'm about a foot above. Here's a little info I got from Area51 (where I actually purchased my HTG as well.)

"The 432w HTG produces 655 Umol'/s @ 12", but because it has higher and unnecessary spikes in the blue, 800 Umol'/s is a little much, so 12"-16" would be ideal in flowering, 20-24" in veg."

Looking good brotherman, how much longer do you think you have til the end? Im so jealous of you guys using 3w Diode lights, my little 1w's are so sad in comparison but Im doing the best with what I got for free. Best of luck to you sir, I will continue to watch as I have no idea about auto's but I took the plunge and everything looks good so far, hopefully I will find some really good info on this journal, it looks like you know what you are doing for sure! GROW ON!

I honestly have no idea how much longer I have. This is my first go with the autos and I'm just not sure how to figure out any timing really. I would probably guess 2-3 weeks for most of them. The super cheese doesn't look like it's going to be producing much at all. It has real small thin buds, but they are the most trich covered so hell maybe it will be a super fire 2 grams lol

Here are the pics:

Brought down half the Somango and the Cheese Candy about 10-14 days ago. The Cheese Candy had a great bag appeal, real nice dense buds, but was a little harsh. Got you high though so I'm giving it a solid 7. Somango so far has been pretty tasty and has a great smell. It didn't really get the swell so it was kinda airy, but that's why I left half, but for airy buds, and auto, it is spot on. As for Jacki, I just don't have very much faith in her. She smells and looks rather regular. I brought down the largest cola about 5 days ago or so, so I will have an idea how she smokes in about a week or so. I'll try to take some pics of a couple Somango buds tomorrow.

Overall I am glad that I tried out these auto freebies but I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing to be gained by going auto. A lot aren't that much quicker and the extra 6-8 hours of lights on a day kinda negate any speed benefit.

Looks like the Autos will Put Out! Took me a minute to realize the Budz in your Veg Tent were Autos! Hehehe

I tried some Cheese yesterday and LOVED it, not sure which specific Cheese, but Cheese nontheless! I need to eliminate some strains to make room for new ones.

Seems everyone is picking up GREAT Strains! But I dont usually accept New strains unless they come with a Harvested Sample to ENJOY! I have had enough OK strains to Know I dont want to waste time on Average!

Looking forward to the Smoke Reports! WooHoo! Thanks for sharing!

Peace

Smoke report is in...

Auto Jack = No triches, smells regular from the beginning to end and came in at almost 90 days. I've only really smoked this a couple times, but it is so swaggy it is not going to do much more than help me get thru til next harvest. This is the worst of the worst 1/10

Auto Somango = I had a lot of faith in this plant. It gave me no problems for the most part and smelled good, but it didn't want to finish so I ended up with an entire plant of larf ass buds. The more buddy of the larf tastes pretty decent and will get you high, but as the buds became more leafy and loose, the taste and potency began to fade. Came in at 3rd with a 3/10

Super Cheese = I wound up chopping this at about 70 days i think. Smell was fruity, pineapple, that carried over into the smoke. The buds were covered in triches, but the bud structure was really weird and the calyxes never really got on the swoll(en.) I thought this would easily be the worst of the bunch but came in at #2. 5/10 overall

Cheese Candy = Very nice bag appeal. Came down around day 80. Out of the 4 autos the CC has the most conventional look. Nice, crystally, dense, decent sized buds. The smell ended up being a little on the regular side, but I'm thinking it might be an auto thing. Taste left a lot to be desired as well, but all things considered was probably the best. 6/10 overall

So I was really kind of counting on my auto tent to get my through between photo harvests, but as you can tell from my review, these autos are a poor excuse/replacement for actual bud. I have seen good grows of the auto somango and jack so the only thing I can think of that bombed my grow is I let the plants dry out a little one day and they may have never really recovered. I have heard that autos are a little sensitive to drying out, but I didn't let it dry out any worse than I routinely allow my photos to dry out, so I'm thinking that autos just can't really replace photos.

To put it simply, in the past (before I started farming) I would occasionally get buds that would look and smell good, but not smoke worth shit. So I'm thinking that what I might have really been coming cross is a couple batches of these autos. Any new farmers who are thinking autos are easier, they aren't. If you think they will save you on energy costs, they won't. Last but not least, if you think you will get high on these autos (and you are an all day smoker,) you wont.

I hope I'm not coming off as a hater, but this run left a terrible taste in my mouth for autos. I would be interested if anybody else has encountered similar situations/feelings, or if perhaps they were just weak phenos etc.

Autos will definitely put out, I got 75 grams dry in 61 days from the moment it popped out of the ground. DNA 60 day lemon.
