Don’t have anyone to babysit etc. saw possibly using a 5 gallon bucket of water with rope in it? And you put like a strand to each plant in the dirt and it’ll supposedly act as a wick?

I’m coming up with nothing. After two days no water they’re usually pretty damn dry and sad. Lot of perlite and lot of roots. Thought of putting in huge pots with straight soil but I don’t know. Please help. Thank.

get a smart plug Smart plug, Gosund Mini Wifi Outlet Works with Alexa, Google Home, No Hub Required, Remote Control Your Home Appliances from Anywhere, ETL Listed, Only Supports 2.4GHz Network(4Packs) - - Amazon.com

plug a pump sitting in a tote of water into that. with hose connected to the plants. plants pots where in a shallow tote filled with perlite so any run off went there. but i only water till enough not really till runoff

after the 2 days use the app to turn the pump on and off.
have a little home security camera connected in the tent to it to see whats going on.

worked for me on a 2 week vacay just 2 plants tho.

so basically pump water from tote to plants with smart plug.

If ur totally screwed you put a towel over the top of the bucket and wet it. 2 towels would hold longer. Water the plant, put wet towels over bucket, that should hold her fine for 2-3 days depending on size of plant

I've used cheap, non toxic, dye free Gel Beads, Hydro Beads, on the soil surface covered with a towel. Doesn't water, but keeps humidity up for a few days. Just scoop out when done.

Fuuuuck. Leaving out early Monday before the mail would arrive or this would be awesome!
You should be able to go to any big box store or gardening center and get those bottles with a spike on the end that you fill and stick in the pot.

Those blumats would be good to have around for future use. You might even decide you like them and just use those instead of hand watering.

Yeah Lowe’s has the aqua globes ten bucks for two. Need about.... 20 of them. Shit. I’ll figure something out I guess.

edit will lowering the watts drastically make them drink less for a few days?

The wick system you mentioned in your opening post would work and you should be able to set that up by Monday no problem. Probably your best option.

Grow store guy convinced me to buy a hundred bucks worth of shit that I gotta make work now.
Submersible pump, black hose half inch, a splitter, a stopper, and all the other Nick nacks needed for a 2GPH drip system. Said each dropper does 2 gallons per hour and I have twenty. So I need to figure out how long a 5 gallon bucket will need to run on Wednesday to disperse 2gph x20 droppers. So that’s what, 40 gallons per hour it’ll pump? Only need a 5 gallon bucket worth of water so how long do I leave the pump on for? 8 minutes? Geeeeeez. Need more than 5 gallons I guess. Maybe 10
