i was thinking about scrog, i'd put a net up within the next few days and veg them for another 4 weeks

i'm not a big fan of topping unless the tops are used for clones. with proper LST training you can get lots of main colas
nice man +rep, how many gallons is that pot?

I have never sog/scrog/frogd . I was big into fiming and that is where I gained the most yields. Now I am going to give it a second round of 4 top method. First one was ok, good yields but need practice.

At the very top of limb, the set of leafs that are fold up but standing up, clip off 2/3rd of that. That will have to stop and heal, in the meantime everything below it starts to get extra juice and grows up around it.

ohh i get it now, i have one that i didn't top yet because she's a runt. i'll have to try that out on her.

Yeah there you go, she wil turn out nice. Just give her recover time and don't second guess the fim.

Just snip, wait, and see. Works great. Can be applied in many cases of one branch getting ahead of another.

WAIT don't FIM her! The point of FIMing is to gain multiple tops. Basically you stunt the growth on purpose to let the lower veg beef up. If you already have a few tops, you're golden. FIMing the plant will just make it so you have to veg for longer. I always FIM my plants, so it's not that I'm against it. But if you already have multiple tops it would be counterproductive.

no what i meant was i have a little runt that i haven't topped or anything, it's just growing a little slower so i didn't top her so i might fim her, instead of topping and give it a try haha i wouldn't top a plant and then fim it again.

I have fimed , then topped a branch or two to even them out. There's lots to do when you have a long veg time.
