right on bro! a buddy of mine and i went to a indoor grow expo. all the nutrient companies were there handing out samples (1gal-1oz) like candy! we had more bags than we could carry, even went out to the truck twice! came home with over 300-400 dollars worth of nutrients. still have lots around here- i sneak one in my feeding once in a while. if you ever hear of something of the sort that way, be sure to hit it up! it was only 10 dollars to get in!

I'll have to check that out.

See if there are any in my neck of the woods.

So i thought i would show you how busy i have been today.

Ok so first as you can now see in the first 2 pics i seem to now have 4 plants in the flowering closet????? Didnt i have 2 in there yesterday???? lol

Well thats right i now have 4 plants in my closet. The 2 original mothers The sour cream back right tied down to the pot. THe nirvana PPP to her left.
The top that i took off the PPP when i topped her and cloned it front left
and the sour cream topped clone to the right.

I also transplanted the 2 cloned tops into 3litre airpots instead of 1litre.

Then i set about transplanting my clones that have been sitting in the propagator for 3 weeks today!!!! I know it took an eternity to root these clones. (unheated prop)

I would stress however that i am running my mother box 24/0 for ease and have been rooting the clones inside a prop inside the mother box.

Now i have 16 clones in there. 4 PPP and 12 sour cream. I shall be keeping 2 of the PPP's and 1 of the sour creams to grow on for more clones. I have all i can handle at the moment and will wait until most of them move over to the flowering closet and get a good 4 weeks flowering time before i move more into flower. i only plan on really using the PPP for a while until a friend brings me over a white ice clone from his grow.

Anyway hope ya'll enjoy the pics.

P.s also forgot to mention the DNA sharksbreath in the little terecota pot sitting on top of the clones. Been reading about the sharksbreath and i like the sound of it, If you're reading this sonny101 that thanks is to you!

Man that was a while ago!!!

IS it the POT OF GOLD you are looking at back there???? If so the smoke was pretty good!!! If it was the sativa then that was delicious! Or if it was the ROCKLOCK then that was nice too lol.

There have been 3 harvests in this thread alone lol!

Currently using AIRPOTS they are an airpruning pot to stop root circling. Each time the root reaches the nobbly bit at the end the air prunes it off causing the plant to send out more new feeder roots creating a dense uncircling root ball!

Right on, are they much better than regular pots? A must have item in the grow room?

Not a definative must in my eyes yet.

But my idea was that an airpot would help reduce the size of the pot that i need to use thus reducing the space the pot takes up.

I have also found that i can comfortably fit 20 1 litre airpots on my drip tray that is in the Mother room, i plan on allowing these clones to reach approximately 4-6inches tall and flowering them to see what kind of yield i can get from these new style of pots.

I used to use 12litre pots for my flowering plants and if i can run a SOG in these 1 litres instead of using bigger pots then it cuts down on the amount space i need to use just for pots allowing me to fit more flowering clones in.

Right on thanks for the honesty! I tend to find the plants take up the room rather than the pots. I can see if you are doing sea of green method, the pots play a bigger role. Im interested in the root controlling thing tho. I wonder if that really makes a difference.

It just means that there are constantly fresh new healthy white feeder roots rather than old roots circling around the pots.

Heres the link check them out.

right on, i outta get one and compare to a regular pot. whats new?
nothing much except bud growth from the flowering mothers.

this is week 3 of 12/12 so they are getting canna pk all this week.

PPP flowering mother is a hungry bitch lol.

EC going in 1.6 first few drops of runoff testing 1.2 might increase to 1.8 after this week .

Sour cream flowering mother in EC1.6 out EC1.5 so she's getting enough at present.

16 clones EC0.9 in EC0.7 coming out.

Happy days!!!!!

Right on, i need to get in the habit of measuring in EC rather than ppm. What does the canna pk do?
PPP = ?

canna pk13/14 its a bloom booster.

PPP = pure power plant ( nirvana )

im kind of following the canna grow guide but just using COCO A/B and PK13/14 and reading EC values in and out to help me fine tune the feeding. Once i only get a small decrease between in EC and out EC thats where the EC will stay until anything changes ie EC decrease / increase .

OK here we go folks.

Thought i would get snap happy with the camera today for all those of you that want to have a look.

Ok in the flowering closet are 4 plants.

THe 2 larger ones at the back are plants that i grew from seed and topped. I topped the PPP to get 4 mains coming off and i have taken a close up of this for you all to see how it should look. the other i topped and tied down. Look at how dense both of these 2 larger plants are. Just phenominal!

the 2 smaller plants at the front are the Tops that i took off the other 2 at the back and rooted. I have also tied the leading tip of the Sour Cream top and she has branched a little now too.

i have tried to include as many pics as i can of the plants in the closet so you can see what has happened to them from tieing down and topping etc.

Then there are a few pics of mother box with my clones and DNA Sharksbreath on top.

Hope you all enjoy and if you have any questions feel free to ask them.

If I understand correctly the air pots keep the roots trimmed. Are you using anything like Hygrozyme to help break down the dead plant material?

lookin good! i would train those bushy ones a bit more...you will get more yield out of em. i also noticed in picture0861.jpg...you are training that plant without topping. i always notice when low stress training plants that arent proportional can lead to a pain in the ass plant later on. i would top it at least once to get some symmetry then train from there. not saying it wont be good weed or prove to yield alot but ive always preferred training proportionately around the perimeter of the canopy.

Thanks for the advice.

The 2 bigger plants have been topped and the sour cream has been tied down to restrict the stretch. Which is the same thing with the smaller Sour Cream. As i cant get the smaller plants any closer to the light at present so i have decided to tie down the main stem on the Smaller Sour Cream. It seems to be working rather well. Besides i am only flowering these 4 while growing on my 16 clones and the Sharksbreath. Once the clones are big enough i will be flowering pretty much all of them and keeping a few back as donor plants for more clones.

Fully agree with you about training early im just trying a few different things out with the strains to see how they perform. Topped and tied, only tied not topped , only topped etc etc.

Will also be running some testing with clones to see how big or small of a clone produces the kind of yield i want from them.
