Hey how's everyone doing?

This will be my second grow, but first one outdoor.

I germinated my plants on April 21( too busy on 4/20:leaf:) via cheesecloth method and put the newly sprouted seeds in a 60% coir, 40% fffof soil. I put the plants under 24/0 light indoor(600 watt metal halide) and kept them at 80 degrees. I experienced a little bit of ph problem around the 2nd week of growth which lasted into the late 3rd week. I figured it was due to the ffof being too hot so i added some dolomite lime as a top dressing which has corrected the problem. My plants are now perfectly healthy and I am about to transfer into a rubbermaid tub that I am going to put in the ground(due to drainage in grow area)., and by the way I am from the midwest.

Here's My plants about a month old on May 22 before I transferred outside.

Overview

I am hoping these plants won't flower since they were recently on 24/0 light and now they are on 16/8, anybody have any experience with this?

I will be updating weekly from this date on...

You have very pretty girls :weed: I'll be getting some in the next few weeks to start a late Outdoor... looks like I'm making a good choice! What was your ph problem or was it a local water thing?

well nice to know that they won't flower, hopefully they will grow into monsters! thanks bonkia. And my ph was too low when they were still inside due to the fox farm ocean forest soil, it really lowered my ph and my runoff was in the low 5's.. A week after top dressing the plants with dolomite lime my ph runoff is 6.2-.5 and new growth is healthy as can be!! I'm really excited for this season hopefully i can pull off a lb or more a plant:o

Thanks! I've heard to avoid Fox Farm Ocean- it's not my favorite so it hasn't been hard I like Happy Frog - they do look great! How many years growing Outdoor do you have under your belt?

Haha id be happy with one a plant, but 2 sounds pretty good to me:?, I'm going to transplant them in rubbermaid containers that I will be putting into the ground so i get as much root expansion as possible(cutting off bottom and putting mesh).,.. does anyone have any good soil mixtures for outdoors?? This is only my second outdoor grow, but I've been growing indoor for about 3 years now.. my last grow was 2 super lemon haze, one blue widow, and one kushage... yielded a little less than 2 lbs under a 600w mh:weed:

After putting up a fence around the girls, something ate g13#1

Slight yellowing on g13#2

Maybe from not watering it for 4 days? yesterday the soil was really dry but I couldn't get a chance to water them, but there was no yellowing yesterday.. you guys think maybe it was just from letting the soil dry out a little too long??

And I just found tiny ants in one of the pots of the lsd... gonna get that diatomaceous earth and add it in next time I water, but the plants will be in the ground by then.

got 50/50 promix and ffof to fill in the holes I dug in the ground... anybody have any advice on how deep/ wide the holes should be? cuz I don't want to ruin their root system by exposing them to too much of the natural soil around them... I know it has certain parasites in it that can harm my plants.

if i had the money for that much soil I would, but I'm pretty sure thats not needed, as the plants get older, they'll be able to take the surrounding soil with no harm, anyone else have precise measurements?

what's your crop worth? not enough for soil amendment's you don't have to replace it amend it with needed products vermiculite to lighten the soil so plant's can get oxygen add micorrize when you plant add benificial nematodes to help the root's...just make it into a good grow medium doesn't have to cost a lot...worm casing's cheap good check thread's here for help! jack

I got the soil mix that is going to be suitable for my plants... all i need to know is how big of a hole in the ground should I dig and fill up with my soil mix.

As I said yesterday, Something ate the bottom 2 nodes of g13#1, but the bottom 2 nodes usually yellow off and die anyway so no harm done! But g13#2 is experiencing some yellowing and spotting on the larger fan leaves. I posted a pic yesterday of the whole plant and you can relatively see what I'm talking about, but heres a closer look at the leaf
IMG_0482.jpg
I'm guessing its just from my recent ph problems still lingering, but the yellowing has gotten worse since yesterday... I clipped off the yellow leaves on them, but does anybody have any insight on what kind of deficiency that looks like?
