4" rockwool no veg

So suppose a drip system were used with 4x4x4" rockwool and they were flipped as soon as they were transplanted from clone for a 9 week flowering strain, is that enough media or would it be necessary to put say a coco mat under?

4x4x4 rw cubes will be fine
