4 week into flowering...

hey am 4 weeks into flowering on my plant I went in earlier and took a shitload of fan leaves off.
how will this affect my plant and also what do I need to look out for???
first time grower btw help or in put will be useful thanks.

Like they said above,
Never remove fan leaves, they are the energy generators for the whole plant.
They are also the surface area that is used to allow the plant Respiration from the environment.

Less energy =less bud
Less respiration =less bud

thanks people and @Bgdog30 a think your right but its done now lol am just wondering how bad a could have affect my plant.
is it okay to take off the smaller branches at the bottom of my plant ? or am I best leaven it?

it debatable I did it to a plant that was 4-5 weeks in flower have two of them going I removed about 25% of the lower growth and if you see the pictures of the two difference you will be suprised, the one I removed has exploded with more growth and much fatter and dense buds but I would say it might not work on all strains
