I'd try to get the CFLs closer if I were you. Couldn't hurt. Do the hand test. But it looks like you know what your doing. Good job.

Ya man thanks. The farthest light is probably about 4 inches away, I'd like to get it closer but all the other lights are anywhere from 1 - 3 inches away. I've got 4 dedicated to the top 3 colas, 3 dedicated to the lower 3 colas and 3 lights for sides. It has seemed to work pretty well but if I continue using CFLs for my next grow I'm going to buy the vanity strips you can find anywhere (walmart). Positioning the little fuckers is a pain. LOL Also with the exception of the CFLs, timer, plugin socket fixtures, digital therm and 1 clamp fixture everything was puchased at thrift stores. The fans, the powerstrip and even the extension chords. I also bought 2 computer fans from the thrift store for my intake and exhaust for .95 cents each. Thrift stores (especially ones that sell old appliances) are gold mines for this type of grow. Peace.

This is a lower growth, about 3 nodes down from the main cola.

Just a little background info:

Only had 1 dose of molasses at this point, trichs doubled within 2 days after 1st dose. Looks like a runny nose. I had no idea I could use molasses for the entire flower or I would have started it a month ago. The brand is Brer Rabbit Molasses, Full Flavor, Green Label

Is this any good? Comments on molasses please. Only $2.12 at walmart for 12 oz.

This plant doesn't seem to need much nutes. Only fed her half strength up until a couple weeks ago. And it's just multipurpose schultz 10-15-15. Used MG at first (shit sucks, not recommended) I use this soil called Whitney Farms and just recently purchased a 20lb bag of topsoil for only a buck 50 at wally world. Like posted before, I got 3 clones just thriving like crazy right now. So glad I was able to keep its genetics. Awesome looking plant.

For those who are interesteed this is a pic of the "birth". It only germed for 4 days and this is its fourth day... Taproot ripped right through the paper towel. It was a bitch removing it without touching the seedling.

Sounds like ya have yer lights rather well positioned! Instead of the vanity lights, I wud suggest getting as many CHEAP lamps as ya can (garage sales, around the house, etc), and take them apart, leaving you a long cord w/a light socket. Then, ya can attach ext cords to the walls, ceiling, floor to get light coverage n-e and everywhere you want! But, I wud recommend HID lighting if yer gonna do many more plants. Just 1 of 2 and CFL's are PERFECT!

Ya for sure. I've been looking at HPS systems. 250w outta be good (for 4 - 5 plants) and then I'll use the CFLs for side lighting. And continue with the 6500K CFLs for Veg.

Grow looks great man, very inspiring! I am starting a CFL closet grow of my own. I don't know how money is for ya but home depot sells some 65w (300w equiv) CFL bulbs for like $15. They are 2700K, PERFECT for flowering and about the size of a football. Best part? they will fit in any of the 10 sockets you are using, check my grow out for a good pic of it next to my other bulbs.

I also did something along the lines of what "where in the hell am I?" was talking about. I bought 4 or 5 worklights with the clamps & reflectors for $7.97 each at Home Depot, and removed the clamp & reflector leaving the socket on a long cord. I have them hung from the top of my closet so I can raise & lower as needed, and with CFLs hanging is great because you can hang them down between, or by the low parts of your plant and not burn them.

Check it out if you want, the link is in my signature. Ill stay tuned here, curious to see what your yield is like, I hope to have 4 in my closet as big as yours or bigger, mmmmmmmm.

Awesome. I've been looking for a higher watt CFL that will go in a regular socket for a while. But all I was able to find was the mogul ones, not very inviting. I'll be sure to check yours out.

Thanks. I hope so. I estimate about an Oz already probably 2 or more when I'm done. I'll keep you posted on my dry weight after harvest.

Just a little update. I started flushing her 2 days ago so I am expecting to start harvest in a couple more weeks.

Early smoke report. This stuff is bomb. One of the best highs I've had in a while. Tastes like some hash I've had, real fruity and candy like. With 2 more weeks of maturity should be even better especially with proper flushing and curing.

2 of the 3 clones are retarded and I'm pretty sure I know why. I didn't cut those above one node below 3. I just cut them at 3 from the base. They are still growing (retardishly) and I put them in the flowering room a few days ago which helped to stretch some, they've already developed hairs so I am just going to let them finish the way they are. They are only about 5 and 7 inches LOL. I'll have pics of those later. Clone #3 is flourishing and I am going to get some real nice cuttings from her for more clones. She's atleast 1 foot or more, big difference from the other 2.

I started 5 seeds in some jiffy pucks and 3 are up and I can see some crackage going on in the dirt with the other 2 so probably another day or two for those. I am only going to let those veg for about a week and throw them straight into flowering. After they sex I might put the females to veg a little longer if I think I'm going to like the strain and take some clones otherwise just see what happens. I've got about 20 more seeds from my collection over the past 2 years. Lots of experimenting to come.
