That be my guess too, maybe got to close to the light and got burned seeing how the rest of the plant looks good.

pic 1 is NOT heat daamage or light damage
these are visible first as an irregular leaf fade near to nitrogen deficiency centralized to the area at the point nearest the light

pic 1 is a bud that has been recently pollinated by 1 of those bananas or some like them
pic 2 isn't clear enough for me to see the issue
are the pistils shriveling on it too?
if thise 2 are beside 1 another then it confirms this theory
are your temps 85 or higher?
is your 1000 watt hps UNCOOLED and closer than 18 inches from your tops (ONLY those 2 tops as well, now, else ALLL of the plants would be stressed

heat causes leaf fade and upward curl along the long edges of the leaf
light causes bleaching in those leaves and sometimes twisting(not tips but more like a corkscrew)
pretty plant
look among those white pistils... especially on the buds with the shriveling hairs...
see the pale green to canary yellow cokored pistil-like growths that don't split on the end and have a slit down one length?
those are bananas and they sre going to likely give you some shitty fem seed where those hairs are shriveling
when you find those bananas, grab the whole calyx(little green individual ball thingie) it's attached to (often in groups of 3-5)m and pull it off quick and sharp, supporting the bud all the while
now eat it
yeah - i said eat it
where the fuck else would you put it

The light is a 400w hps.
The plant with the problem is the one on the far left(tallest)
I keep it furthest from the light, and the spots where problems are occurring are on lower colas.
(Very well could be pollination, as I had a male in here a week into flower...)
Very well could be heat stress, it gets to 85 rarely, and when it does i am usually there to adjust it right away. 95% of the time it sits at 80-82. Should i lower even more?

That second picture was just showing the top colas of the plant as they are looking good it seems...

ideally, of course you should lower your temps, but it's summer, right?
they are flourishing beautiful girls, man - truly
be proud....
okay now quit
lol
you're doing great man
look over the plants really well for nanners, paying special attention on the shorter plants under the bud site right at the calyx - indicas often present sexual mutations at that point and you don't see it till it's lying on the bud below it - fucked rofl
on the tall plant... pay attention to the air flow over the plant - watch it wave around - look above and up wind of the pollinated area -

also - theres no guarantee the pollen was viable - stress pollen often isn't viable at all or is mostly not(handful of seeds in a handfull of buds in a whole room - often dank)
accidental pollination created the chem line, if you'll recall

It seems they are doing great for a first grow, few minor problems but this is the newest concern.

I am home a lot so checking the plants on a regular basis is normal
Will most likely try and keep the heat down a bit, if they are in flower it would be better anyways.

What about the option of trimming that entire branch off? would that stress the plant to much at this stage?

unless it's literally covered in bananas, i'd leave it be - it won't make a single bit of difference to the rest of the plant whether it's there or not, and that branch, from pollinated area upward, will have a more full cannabinoid profile, higher thc content, lower resin production, and sweeter, milder flavor
it'll be more sleepy/dreamy relaxing to smoke than the rest of the plant too
probably
