so here's the deal... i planted 5 bagseed seeds, all from diffrent bags i aquired over a months period, they germinated on 5-16-16 and vegged for 6 weeks. pre flowers showed at about 5 weeks into veg. after discovering that 3 of them were males i quickly removed them and they were destroyed. the remaining 2 plants have been on a 12/12 light schedule since 6-25-16. one of the plants has exploded with big bud sites and hundreds of white bunches of hairs and trichomes everywhere. smells great too! the other one has no signs of flowering at all, only little tiny thin pistils which is the only reason i know for sure that it is a female but nothings going on with this plant. it has already stopped growing verticle but it just has leaves and no buds. what is wrong? any advice will help. im growing in a 50/50 mix of soil and peet, in 3 gallon pots. i used miracle grow indoor plant food and AN Bud Candy for the first 4 weeks in veg and stopped feeding them nutes till i switched to flowering. since 12/12 i used open sesame for the first two weeks, beastie bloomz for the 3rd and 4th week along with botanicare sweet berry, and since 7-27-16 i have been using tiger bloom with the sweet berry. watered with purified water since day 1. no light leaks, lights always on a light timer i feed every two days or when top 1 inch of soil becomes dry, whichever comes first. so what is going wrong???

First things first maybe break down this big chunk of text next time.

Can you provide us with some pictures of your plants? If they are healthy and facing no other issues it would seem you just got some slow growing plants. I planed some bagseed and even at thirteen weeks the buds were still swelling and fattening up. So you got to give your plants plenty of time when you don't have breeder information ready on the genetics. Even when you do have a breeder estimate it seems it's always prudent to add 2-3 weeks to the total flowering time.

Why people insist of feeding their plants things like open sesame and beastie blooms is beyond me... Specially when they don't even have a bud on them..

An idea of what kind of lighting you are using would also be helpful.

i fed both plants i have open sesame and beastie bloomz according to the fox farm feeding schedule and the other plant i have is doing great so i dont understand why it is so "BEYOND" you, as you put it, that i give my plants these nutes. and as for my lighting setup im using CFLs. 4x 65 watt 2700k 2x 45 watt 6500k. both plants stand at 25 inches and i keep the lights about 3 inches from the plants

"great" is relative. And it's beyond me because that stuff is crap and also your plants don't care about a fox farm schedule. You have to look at the relative condition of the plant... When they say "feed x during second week of flowering" you should probably have flowers on the damn plant don't you think?

Some times they need a little kick to get them into full flower, I'd give that plant a little extra darkness. Put her in a dark closet for 24 hours then throw her back in 12/12

give them 14 to 24 hours of darkness

and then

run 8/16 anything that`s not budding in 4/6 weeks of 8/16 just throw away unless your a land race sativa breeder, lol

8/16? as in 8hrs light 16 dark? wont this take even longer to grow out that way?
No the shorter the light time the faster they flower

it can hurt yield a bit but after you have buds developing you can step back up to 10/14

very few people actually flower at 12/12 its just a round about number where most plants will show sex, I know some strains that will flower pretty hard at 14/10 and others that like 10/14 or 8/16

also why pay for extra power you don`t need ?

I veg at 14/10 or 16/8 or even 18/6 sometimes 20/4 sometimes 24 on, as veg is lower power no need to worry just do what ever gives you the nicest plant least problems and lowest cost

but flowering lights use more power and the room gets hot and a lot of plants sex better under 12 hour days

Its common for most people to run 10/14 and 8/16 is pretty normal day lengths for a lot of places in the world, when do you get over 8 hours of top notch sun during the day?

Plus they are bag seeds and they are not flowering so you need a shorter day, is your lighting system good enough for the area ?

Yeah mate

That ones got good genetics if its flowering up like that for you

I would clone or reveg that if you can`t get more plants

or like I said shorten the days light for the rest

that one won`t mind it`ll bud up faster and finish faster is all

What you have is a tropical sativa's. I once had a pair of plants go 56 days at 12/12. You don't need the 24 hr dark just switch to 10/14 light cycle and they will flower. And leave them 10/14 for the full cycle.

yes fam, i agree. the one that is flowering good has some strong genes. i attempted to take 5 clones from that one but as it was my first attempt at cloning and i was lacking the proper equipment, only 1 survived. it is about 7.5 inches tall right now and has been under 12/12 since root. i think i will take your advice and and try switching to a 10/14 light cycle to see if that jump starts the other plant.

sounds like a plan don`t be afraid to drop down to 8/16

I would put the clone over to 16/8 let it grow a bit then take more clones if you like the bud your getting on that plant

Also some GA3 is good to give to a mother plant before you take clones, you get less bushing but they grow fast and straight up

I like triacontanol for making them bushy and getting more bud sites or more white hairs to shoot our during flower but it seems to make clones veg slower GA3 at a low dosage when sprayed on or say 20 to 100ppm in the feed water can make a plant take off veg wise you get nice long side shoots that are easier to cut up for clones and take off and root faster

Or a good seaweed extract is like a balance between the 2

Evoponic do "plant steroids elixir" or something called "Mother kare" both do the same thing pretty easy product for newbies to use 1ml per L you can go upto 2ml per L if you want if you over feed with GA3 your plants grow like crazy but you can get more males and hermies

But any kinda rooter plant start or weak veg feed even can help with taking clones

I like to use rockwall or foam cubes are good, coco or soil can work, Hydro and aero are best if you know how to run hydro without issues otherwise just buying the big rock wall slabs and cutting a slab for 3 to 20 clones is your beast bet

some rooting gel or powder and boom

You already made one clone so you should be able to get better with some more equipment and practice

You seem to be doing well enough mate

Pertty soon you`ll be telling newbies on here what to do :)
