$400 to light a 4x4

I've been utilizing only 1/4 of my tent space (2 plants) because I currently have a "2,000 watt" LED. I'm committed to spending around $400 to upgrade my lighting with hopes of also lowering my electricity bill. What's the best bang for my buck for my price point?
For that amount of money, a single 600 watt MH/HPS will do the trick to the max. Actually, it'll do it for just over half that.

There's also a very nice Timber COB setup for right at that amount that will do the trick nicely as well if you're married to the LED side of things.

$330.....ish.
That'll do the biz in 4 x 4 within your budget .
Customs/import duty on top to pay as well.
Send them an email and they'll tell you the total cost

Have you had experience with them first hand? And what do you recommend they Test there products so idk how that would be full of shit?
No, I have not had first-hand experience with Spectrum King, but I don't need it to know that their coverage claims are bullshit. To put it in perspective, growers using the most efficient LEDs available typically shoot for a minimum of 30 watts per square foot. Wattage isn't the best indicator of growing performance, but in the absence of other data (data Spectrum King doesn't even provide - such as what diodes they're using), it's the best measuring stick we have. In a 3x3 you should aim for around 300 watts of LED of known efficiency. Take a look at COB fixtures from companies like Timber Grow Lights or RapidLED, boards from companies like Horticultural Lighting Group or ChilLED, or - if you're interested in DIY - Samsung LED strips using either the LM561C or LM301B diodes.

You think 2 of those would light the entire tent?

I might buy 1 of these for now, and combine it with my current LED.
Two of those isn't gonna light up a 4x4 properly, you'd have to get at least 4 of those to compare to a 600w hps which is standard for a 4x4 grow tent.

I'd just buy a quality 600w hps .

Your currently LED is pretty much a paper weight.

It will cover a 3x3. His Blurple Board might at least round it out to 4x4. 3 will cover a 4x4, according to specs. Let me find that PPFD vid.
