after reading up on the lowryder strain i have realized im going to grow some. i plant to grow 4 plant under a 400 W HPS light. i chose HPS because lowryder goes straight from germination to flowering and HPS is good for flowering. do you think ill have a good outcome with this idea?

Should be plenty, and although it has ruderalis influence i have heard very good things about this strain. A lot of people that are growing LR are having good results with a 150 hps and a couple of compacts. One thing i have defintely heard is to go easy with the nutes. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck tho!
