400 w question .... lightttt

is the eye hortilux hps better than the plantmax metal halide for vegging ??? they go to 1000 w super hps but im wondering cause i got a brand new metal halide plantmax bulb and i know metal halide is better than hps for vegging .. the plants under it are a few weeks old and kinda growing slow but bushy under the hps at the moment but let me know if any1 has an answer .. thankssss

mh for veg and hps for flower. Leave the mh on for at least 18 hours if not 24 hours for vegging.

I do my vegging under 160w of T5 bulbs. And flower under 800w of hps.
