400 watt grow tent setup

so im buying a 400 watt mh/hps cooltube with a inline fan and carbon filter i have a 2 x 4 x 6.5 grow tent i was just wonder how many plants i can grow in that size tent. i have 5 BF blue cheese and will i need a intake fan are will the exhaust fan do that? thank you

number of plants depends on their size and style of growth, anything from 1 to 20 if youre doing SOG. no need for intake fan just a hole for passive intake

I wouldn't do more than three, unless you're doing a SOG. I have 6 in a 4x4.

IMO your light is a bit too small for the tent. You should go with 600w in a 2x4. With that said, I wouldn't grow more than 3 in that tent. You don't need an intake fan, passive would work just fine.

lol the light is to small ? i grew 2 autoflwoers for my 1st grow in that tent under 150 watt hps and got alomst 2 oz lol

it is not too small but you should rotate your plants often and maybe stay in a 2x3 foot print I would put 5 or 6 plants under there and top them young and flower after 5 weeks veg
