400cfm exaust vs. 188cfm intake

apartment grow so i'm very concerned about smell and noise, but of course i still want good airflow for my plants.

6x6x6 tent, 188cfm intake, 400cfm exaust (which first goes through a carbon filter and 8foot duct). I "could" hookup another 400cfm for intake but then the noise is way too loud. Keeping 400cfm on exuast is ok because the filter and duct actually keep down noise pretty good. so, keeping the 188cfm thats half the power of the 400cfm exaust.

think the air exchange will not be balanced properly?
if you're recommending fan speed control, i hear thats not good on the fan motors.

According to the more educated responses I've read around then net, my setup seems to be ok

Outtake air can be stronger than intake, and many people recommend it. Since the exhaust is handling odor control, its best to give that fan the most control over airflow. Since pressure is brought thru the fan from the inside of the tent, it will help pull in fresh air from the intake, removing the need for another 400cfm.

Any more feedback on this topic is appreciated
