Hi, I just purchased my first HID lamp. Bought a small kit from IGH.

I just got around to modifying my LED cabinet to add the cooltube. Get the top of the cabinet back on, go to plug everything.. and well.. I encountered an issue. I took a photo but I can't find my cord to connect it to my laptop at the moment, so I found some online..

The ballast itself looks like this (referring to the socket to attach the lamp cord, take note of the two "circular" prongs and one irregular.

The lamp cord however has 3 circular prongs, the one in the center being slightly offset much like standard US prongs. It would fit better into one like this..

So did IGH just sucker punch me?

The first fitting is standard and the second is for Hydrohut? and sunsystems? Not sure on the brands but a couple have their own fitting. You can rewire with the correct fitting and it will work.
