stelthy: I have been using a non recirculating drip system and added a tray with drain. I have been thinking about recirculating dwc but i dont have much space to work with right now :/
and the reflector is a spartan 6" air cooled
Thanks for the rep I am super excited smoke my first bud
So first an update last night was there last light cycle and then are sitting in the dark for 36hr then chopped!
Going to just be trimming fan leaves and dry for 6-7 days in my closet with a carbon filter running
Then going to trim small leaves and break into small buds. Then buds into glass jars to start curing
As far as the next grow goes here is the plan:
Quantum dimmable 600watt ballast (shipped for $140) and going to get the ushio hilux grow hps bulb
Upgrade the fans and get a 8" max fan ($200) for the light and use the 6" for exhaust
Also get a bigger carbon filter that can scrub at a higher cfm like 200-300
I know the fans will be unnecessarily huge but I will turn them down using speed controllers to keep it stealth
Going to add a fixed screen in a U shape to try to help the sides get better light and give me light more sq feet of canopy
As far as what strain im still not sure but im leaning towards:
Half: PURPLE DIESEL
(AKA Purponic)
Purple Diesel by Medicinal Organics is a strain whose flower is guaranteed to impress. We crossed The Purps x Somas NYC Diesel. There is no need to induce low temperatures to achieve the purple hue. These plants turn visibly purple during the second week of flowering under any grow room temperature. The meditative effect is uplifting, soaring and cerebral. There is no burnout when grown organically. A true Northern California favorite.
Genetics: Da Purps♂ x (SOMA) N.Y. Diesel♀ Strain: Indica Plant Height: Medium-Tall Flowering Time: Indoor: 6-8 weeks Outdoor: Mid to Late September Yield: Good to Great

Half:
Sour Grapes (Hi)
(Indica - Sativa)
Creators: Apothecary Genetics
(NOTE: Not to be confused with the Oakland Sour Grapes)
Awards: None Yet
Genetics: Grape Ape and Sour Diesel
Effect: Healing the Mind, Body, & Soul
Taste: Like a wine grape.
Flowering indoor: 7-8 Weeks, yield 700-800 g / m2
Flowering outdoor: Late October
also thinking about Sour OG, Afghan kush, Purple Kush, or a friends cut of LA Con
Going to be going organic for the next one!
Going to be using coco coir mix with perlite and humus and some other stuff
will update later but i will be using a more experienced growers mix so im hoping for good results!
I would like to do some form of recirculating hydro but I dont think its possible with organic nutes.....maybe it is?
So just going to stick to a drain to waste setup with drip rings
