ok so the ac unit has ben running at 73degress and wow i can now take bt's without sweating lol.
the garage has cooled down 7-10degress.and thus the boxes temps have dropped 3-5degress from it.
highs are now 84-86 in peak heat of day,but i am going to do major construction this weekend on the garage.
im putting a roof over the area,since there's just beams going across no roof.
then im going to throw up insulation once that's done.
and that's going to help a TON keep the cold in,and heat out.
then the wall i had previously built to divide this section of the garage wasn't built up to the highest beam so this will be raised and also insulated which will help keep the cold air more in that area not spread it over the hole garage.
will have before and after pics sunday since it's happening saturday

well the plants have now 3nodes biggest has 4,i really wanna top them to get multiple tops but im not to sure i know how.
could someone help me out here?

ok well 2 of the plants get topped tonight.
also my little side project of lowering the roof of the garage,and insulating it is going on today so ill take before/after pics and have them up tonight or in the morning.
hopefully this helps cool the area more.

well the plants got topped,i was so nervers i hope i did it right considering this is my first grow.
since i topped them im going to let them recover and veg them for say 2weeks and pop them into flowering.
i have obtained some more seeds that will go into veg box once these are put into flowering.
i have finally convinced my girl to let me order some seeds now,so i decided im going to purchase WRL Double Gum,and a type of auto flowering plant to put in the veg box.
so ill add a few more cfl's once i get those in their prob just 2-4 to help with the lowryder bud better.
well pics later tonight when lights on.

Ok so here's the pics of the kotton mouth kush topped photo 1,
and the unknown strain of kush ,2..the other 2 are not getting topped
i herd after the fact that it is better to use a razor blade?is this true can anyone put some info in on that?.
and common guys it getting lonely up in here,well hope u all enjoy.

ok so im not like super worried cuzz there still a nice green,so N def is not it,and i dono if this was from the catterpillars which i killed a week ago.
and have not seen any but, could someone maybe tell what is causing these yellow-rust spots?.
ill try poting this in plant problems also,just thought journal should be ffirst...plz leave comments info something it ben very quite :confused:

and ima hold off on nutes on this batch till flowering,next batch of plants that go into veg box ill add nutes to them.
ill update with pics soon i just like to post pics where u can look at the old one and be like dang they have grown etc.

well the 2 plants really took well to the topping they are so short and bushy,i really need them to stretch upward in the next week and half before they go into flowering.
ill have pics up tonight at lights on,but they are just 2inches under a foot,and i have 4ft to work with height wise is it going to be a tight fit?with a 400watt in their im thinking no but it's my first grow so hopefully they will fit fine in the chamber
and plz post im so lonely lol

ok sry my comp ben down for awhile,i have added a few things new,and have orderd alot of things!!! their's ganna be alot changing soon.
so here's were i am at right now.
only things new atm is i came across a 125wat cfl for free so threw it in their to help out till i get my last few parts for my other plan for lighting.
also came across a 6inch in-line fan for veg room which will be added when i put a new back wall on the unit to hold eveything.
i swopped out my 400watt hps for a 250watt for flowering just because im still haveing sum slight heat problems i belive.
soon to fix this problem tho with some work done in the room in the garage that the two units are in,so they can benefit the coolness of the 8,000btu airconditioner i got for the room.
well here's the pics plz enjoy and post people i want feed-back.

first plant is the sum strain of kush.
second is the fruity pebble which i just topped 2days ago.
third is the kotton-mouth-kush which is my favorit so far.
and this fourth one is also sum kush strain
all seeds where found in bags from the clubs around holly-wood etc.

does this look like heat damage?or sumthing else the temps do get kinda high honestly around 89 but only for 3-4hours then drop to 82-83 for rest of time.
i know that not good for temps to vary that much but it's in a garage thats not fully insulated.
well here's a pic plz sum1 help me out,can't be nute burn due to i have not used nutes yet,belive it or not these plants are only 7inches high still wow there short and bushy.
btw they go into flowering next weekend hopefully the fruity will have healed by then,

Ok here's an update,plants are about 1ft so i figure this coming saturday they will go into flowering.
the veg room will then get reconstructed with a supported back wall to hold a 6inch exhaust fan i've picked up.
also add a 125watt cfl maybe because im thinking of 2 light strip's with 3-4 sockets on each strip.
im currently using 27watt cfl's but i think maybe when i get the new light strips maybe throw in sum 13watt mix's so i can utilize more y-sockets etc,because i found 13watt one's for so cheap.
this be a good idea? because i already got 6-27watt one's

ok no 1 has anything to say?am i doing something wrong i could be doing better?or anything i haven't ph'ed the water since i talked to a soil grower and he said he's never ph'ed his soil.
i think i might tho once i start adding molasses/tiger bloom this coming up weekend.
and the dry box will soon be constructed and have a step-by-step setup of how i did it.although i think it's already ben done(rubbermaid dry box?)

well im to high to leave my room but pics tomorrows,and ima need someones help telling me whats wrong with my fuity peddle..the edges turn dark purple then slow goes inwards then after the brown follows buts it's a dark brown/purple color..oh well ill have pics up 2mar sum1 help me tho so i can fix it

thanks man glad to hear that cuz im super nerves being this my first grow.well here's a pic of the leaf problem im haveing.ganna let the plants veg abit longer they still can grow abit more before put into flowering.
i hope u stay tuned because i plan on doing alot of construction/building in the next 2-3weeks.

well snagged some pictures tonight,but my batterys decided to die in my camera so i gotta wait till 2mar to stop and grab sum.
Today marks the first day of flowering so let's hope for the best,ill also start adding molasses tomorrow.
i still have to install the intake fan's onto the flowering box just haven't had time,well im off but check in tomorrow and look at the pictures ill upload hope u all enjoy lates.
