400w or 600w hid for 4x4'

Title pretty much states is all which wattage should i go with? Upgrading from a 8 bulb 432w t5ho fixture to hid.

600w

1000w if you can control heat.

I went from the same 8 bulb to a 600 and I doubled my harvest. when i switched i also went barebulb vert.
But that was just for me. i got 2 other people im supplying now and am moving to duel 1ks.

All depends on how much you want to grow. and your space.

400 in my situation at the momnet under north star reflector in cool tube covering exactly 75x75 cm in my room or max 90cm in grow tent (more reflective)will be the best and pushing it I think

I would highly recomment go for 3x3 with 600 or 4x4 in tent

Am starting now two tents for flowering

1 secret garden 150cmx90 planing on having 1 x 600 plus 1x400 cool tubes 125mm

And one secret jarden 240x120 with 2 x 600w in 150 cool tube and maybe add one more in the future

I've run both in a 3.5' by 3.5' area.
Go with the 600. Air cooled hood and you can sit in the upper 70s all day and grow super dense crops.

I use a 400 in a 3x3 and it's about perfect, I'd say to get a 600 for a 4x4

At least 600 in a 4x4 hid.
