So I've been doing my research and preparing to start getting things together for my first grow. I have a very small area for growing. 2hx2wx6h. I'm not sure the best way to go about it and was looking for some input from you growers.
Should I try to go with 5/6 low rider strains or 1/2 of something that will grow bigger in general (thinking either AK47 or Train Wreck).
Also, for such a small grow area would 400w vs 600w make a difference ? I'd rather stick to 400w just for the $$ but I'm open to getting setup the right way the first time so if 600w is better for my wants then I can spend the doh!
Pertaining to the CFMs on the filtration systems I've read that too much air can under utilize your carbon cans. Is this true and by how much? I'm looking for a 6 inch fan with a CFM of 450ish and the filter I think is listed for 250 cfm I think. Would that be too much air through that filter? I'm in an apt and HAVE to have NO smell outside my box. Also, with these fans, can they be enclosed in a carboard box with sound proofing? I'm a musician and have plenty of sound foam handy but concerned with overheating the fan. With a closed system it seems they must cool them self because I can't see vents on the casing of the van itself.
I'm sure this stuff has been posted before but couldn't find the exact answers I was looking for. Thanks,
J
