no.

if you're in the northern hemisphere, you'll be moving into spring and summer before long. 86-89 will become 95-105 with every low pressure front that moves through your area.

solution: buy two fans and place one on the floor at the closet opening on one end facing in and the other on the upper shelf in the closet facing out the other end. the higher the better since you want to exhaust all of the hot air that's risen.

The more hot air you get out and the more cool air you get in, the bigger your buds will be. A 400 will not give good results in a un ventilated closet.

the hotter the room the faster ur thc breaks down, 85 degrees is to hot for flower n the bigger problem with temps that high is ur humidity levels. must be up there which is the bigger deal when flowering, keep the humidity low otherwise it'll effect your yeild. type how to grow marijuana in ur search engine and it'll also tell ur what kind of ratio of nuts to use at those temps.

ive got it steady at 86 - 87 wiv the door open
They will be fine. I have grown girls that stayed in a flower room with a temp that stayed consistently @ 90+ degrees. It's not IDEAL, but sometimes you don't have a choice.

I currently have 2 400w lights flowering mine and the temp is about 85 degrees in the room. I have two huge box fans blowing straight across the tops and I keep the door open to allow as much air flow as possible. They won't like hot stagnant air, but with enough airflow I'd say the temp at the top of my plants is 90 degrees and I haven't seen any signs of heat stress as of yet. If heat becomes a problem I have backup plans though...portable A/C works pretty well and lowers humidity.
