4500sf Grow .... 36k Flower

First draft here of a buildout. We plan to go back and forth on this a bit. Looking for any advice on this. This is our current idea on it. Each of the Flower rooms will have a 5 ton AC pumped directly into it. It is a sealed environment.

This is not 100% to scale and that front office space etc the rooms might actually be a bit smaller and one of them that says nursery will actually be an Office

The tank at the bottom left is a 750gal which will be pressure fed into the 8 55gal resevoirs thoughout the grow.

The offices are actually elevated and are a mezzannine that is sealed and has a windo overloooking the warehouse where the flower will be.

The cycle will be from left to right Week 1-8 with finishing plants being wheeled all the way down to the right.

The empty space in the middle will contain a drying room that will be 12x20 all wood and a storage and medium preparation area.

Each flower room will have 12 4x8 tables with each getting 2 600 or 1000 watt lights over it. All plants hit flower at 10 day veg. The 4x8 tables are on wheels and have a drip system manifold attached.

Thoughts?

I would definitely stick with 1000s if you got the height which from what it sounds like you definitely do, my only question is why move the trays from room to room? You could do three perpetual cycles in each one unless you plan on doing more or trying to harvest every week...which would make sense considering the size and manpower to trim that much is a bitch! Do you plan on venting your lights at all or are they going to be free hanging? Running CO2? definitely very interested to see final set-up/equipment list...Have you seen those OG hoods that put the light directly into 4x4? haven't used them yet but planning on it soon. Goodluck my friend

yes each table will actually have 2 of the OG's

Have you looked into a flip Box & building another Bloom Room?
Also Your Rooms looksBig ~ In a 25x35 =875sq feet
The amount of light needed for Each Bloom room that size ~ is 43,750 Watts for a 50 watt (Thats Min Too) per sq foot rule
so To Fill All your Rooms You would Need around 150k In lights ~ Correct me if im Wrong ~ I am Med it up ATM
But Hence my Suggestion for a Flipperbox ~ you Can run
20k of bloom of 10k ballest
so a 30k 12hour Cycle Become 60k 24 hour cycle

Im in the work on setting up a two 10k Bloom rooms 20 hoods ~ 10 in each room
they all run off 5 Dual1000watt ballast ~ 5 ballist Ran thru a 20 Light Flip Box
When one 12hour light cycle ends other room starts . Very clean !
Also Pretty sure help make your ballest last longer Not being turned on & off ever 12 ~ Stays on 24/7

But i would suggest this With any new Larger Size Grow Rooms ~ Grow Shops Dont usally Sell Flip Boxes ~ CUTs OUT OF THERE Buisness
Thay would much rather you buy 10-20 more Ballist

Any whoot GL ~ you should GROW longer then ten days ~ Do some math on ur lighting & size of rooms & look into a Flip Box

Thanks man. We are def planning to use Flip Boxes.

at 10 day veg in flood tables using a SOG we basically get about 1.2-1.4lb per light. I am always all ears to hear how to increase that. We just don't want to be growing trees. The maintenance is not good and we find bigger yields from more smaller plants that are untopped.

The first draft is rough. WE have aready cut the size down to about half for the growing and added 1 more room. Its going to make more sense in the long run i feel.

Looks like your Set up Is going to real nice.... What Kind of Light System Are you going to Use?
Ballist ~ hood ~ Bulb?
U Strickly HSP Bloom? OR u gonna Mix Some MH or CLFs in there?

I found a WebSite I Was Gonna Order another 10k System ~ 1000bulbs.com
they have 2k dual1000's ballist for Less then $200 Bucks! 1 Ballest Runs 2 hoods & w/ Flip box Runs 4 lamps 2 on 2 off 12 hour cycle ( https://1000bulbs.com/product/89250/SUN-902434.html )
I paid 260 Each for mine & thats Was after Grow Shop knocked 15 % off .. so thought this was Deal.
These are Simple & Easy ~

That ballast is great. Wish it was a digital.
