Having four 1000w hps over 24 bucket. The lights are enclosed so I planned on exhausting them in pairs using 454cfm inline fans. Im planning on using a 12" 1050cfm fan to exhaust via scrubber and likely another 454cfm for intake (I will be adding co2 w controller set for 1400ppm). Does this sound suffcient for basic ventilation for a 4k watt room? Any help/advice appreciated.

No.

You cant add a CO2 to a room that you're ventilating. Well you can, but it's counter productive. You'll just be exhausting all of your CO2.

I thought you missed the 'enclosed hood' bit until I read aout about the scrubber.
You need 2 vent your lights only and pull/exhaust air only to/from lights to run co2

Ok yeah I planned on running a controller that would turn exhaust off and I would only exhaust for like 15 min every two and half hours. But if I can eliminate it from this equation I happily would:lol: Would a single 1050cfm fan be enough to pull heat from four 1k Watters?

Yea, It should get the job done. You're still going to get heat, but if you're cooling 4 1kwatters inline it's kind of unavoidable. Having CO2 will let you take advantage of some warmer temps, But it just seems counter productive to run CO2 and ventilation in the same room, even if you're cycling them.

IMHO, if you want to run CO2, might as well go all out with an AC/sealed (and insulated) room.

Must agree. IMO I feel that hoods are a waste of time but if needed I would use a Sealed Ac and Exhaust when needed. There are controllers that will only run an Exhaust when needed and only runs the Ac if at all possible. If you have the money get a mini split ac system.

A mini split is in the plans. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to wait a few months for one. In the meantime I'm thankful the garden is in Michigan and won't be running until the last few weeks of October. The room is a sealed room inside of a full basement. We will be using Sentinel chhc-4 to control dehumidifier, co2, exhaust fan if needed, and heater for night, if needed. Titan Helios 3 controlling the four thousand watt lights, inline fans and duct boosters.
