bro i only run a 250w hps in my fridge depending on how many plants a i grow i can yeild any where between 20-30g dry a plant and thats depending on my nutes and training and of course the more time you put into traing them girls the more your gonna get out of them its just pratice aye and patients is the key id have my 250w no ferther than 6 inchs from my lants and every thing white to reflect that light if i can get better airflow around my plants and not burn my tops ill get that lamp closer.

Lights are too far,i think..but if you lower them too much now -without a fan or sumthing between light and top of plant- it could burn top..Hope you sort it.. !
Ps.use your led light instead.?

you can pull a pound off a 400 hps, you'll get better, don't fret. Research and keep trying. Buy jorge cenvantes book, the growers bible. And some general plant botany books.Good luck.

Hello guys thank you for advices.One guy above mention flushing,well i didn t flush the plant not even once since i started i thought that i only have to flush 1-2weeks 1-2times before harvest (i am using organic nutrients bio thrive grow and bloom)anyway i am still unsatisfied with my plant.i will try to grow indica my next grow something easy with big yield.Here are the pics about 28days flowering.
You guys mentioned that mi light is to far i have measured it and it is 11inch from 2 tops and 15inch from rest of the plant i hold my arm for a minute on 11inch and i can say that there is a lot of heat so i am scared to put it any closer.Anyway here are the pics 28days.

it looks very skinny and buds dont look compact and hard more like popcorn shit i dont understand...maybe the strain but something is wrong i saw on youtube people grow 2times bigger plant with 125watt cfl lol...

Theoretically you could surround a bulb with plants so much that you cannot see the bulb.. that is 100% efficient use.. I can see there is a majority of the light escaping out the sides and even the thickest part of the canopy is letting lots of light through.


And for veg you are better off getting T5 or LED. They don't use nearly as much electric and do a great job.

At that time i didnt have mh bulb i do have it now.Do you think that mh will do better job than t5 or cfl?ELECTRICITY BILL IS NOT A PROBLEM.I am lucky hahaha i live in apartment and the owner of the whole building is getting only one electricity bill for everything.It is 24flor building each flor have 20appartements so there is no way that 100 more or less is doing any difference.The point is what is better mh or cfl or led or what?

Bend the two that are 11" from the light down to the same height as the rest..bingo..! plants got enuff room,so now you can lower your light..Plus try get sum air between canapy n lights,that'll help with heat damage(if any)..

J. Motika - Your plants are TOO FAR AWAY FROM THE LIGHT... plus, it's very early in flower.Snap those main colas and train horizontally. Put reflective surface on walls & Move your lamp down to 12" (inches) from plant tops. Happy growing brother-

Generally MH for veg, and HPS for flowering. This is debatable, and some growers use only MH the whole cycle, including flowering. The KEY, my friend is to use the lamp as Close to plants as possible. Concentrate those 55,000 Lumens onto the plants, and put reflective material on your walls. Point your fan at the bulb, then you can move your lamp 10 inches from the canopy. Good Luck :leaf:

I think you will see the tops collect together in another 30 days.Looks like your pot size is too big for your set up.If plant count is no concern,try using 9" square pots in there next round.I use a 400w MH all the way,with 25 plants,yield is about 15 oz.

ps...try a water farm set up....follow flowamaster

Looks completely normal for bud growth at 28 days with that much foliage and light. Yes, you need to reflect light back towards the plant. The light may need to be closer. Your genetics play a roll. Like Alphaphase said, just keep reading and learning.experience is the best teacher though.

Thanks a lot guys.I want to make those 2 tops same height like other ones so all buds receive equal amount of light.One guy mention that i should snap it?I will do it if you guys agree?I kinda feel that super cropping 4weeks in flowering is gonna reduce my yield because plant will use a lot of energy to heal instead of producing buds? I also did some research about nutrients because i only use bio thrive bloom for flowering.And i realize that almost everyone are using more product at the time like for example with advanced nutrients people would use voodoo juice (root improvement) + bud igniter (make it bloom faster) in 1st and 2nd week of flowering,than they would use big bud (to make buds fat and heavy) during week 3,4,5 and some overdrive thing to improve taste and smell during week 6-7 and that they would just feed with water and flush it 2 times last week of flower.So i was thinking maybe its not problem in lights right?because people have nice results with like 125-200watt cfl or 150watt hps they harvest 2ounces lol...so maybe i dont give her enough food or my soil is not good?I bought regular soil i mean just black soil without nutrients like miracle grow or something i just thought that my nutrients will give her enough food...

Well this is my second grow.For my next one i already have seeds and i am planing on doing topping+lst i have G13 labs blue og,Panama (100%sativa needs 12weeks of flower) and 10 skunk 1#
I am planing to put skunk and blue og outside in june cant do it before because i live in Alberta (Canada) and its too cold here even june during the night is like +10c sometimes even go lower like +5...
and first sings of frost are coming in september 15 do you guys think if i start indoor in may,put outside in june that 3months will be enough time to finish that skunk?i bought skunk because it says that it is very good in cold climate and that flowering is just 45-55days.my biggest concern is that it is not gonna start to flower...here summer is just crazy...too long days i mean sunrise is about 4.30am and sun set is in 10:30pm i know it sound crazy but last year in july i remember that it was 11pm and it wasnt dark lol... not full day light of course but in 10am is DAY LIGHT.so there is only between 5-7hours of light in july...is it gonna start flower?because it it dont start flower until july 15 i am fucked.

how do u figure watts per square foot? running a 5x6 foot area, what would be best? i have 3 400 watt ballasts and 2 600 watt ballasts.. they say 50 watts per square foot, how do you figure it out? 5 x6 =30sq ft area

what area does a 400 cover and what does a 600 cover?

Yes 5x6=30ft but dont measure the whole closet or wherever you are growing.Measure foots from your light to the bottom (you wont put your lights as high as possible right you will put it like 10-15inch from plant but you will still have space above the light so just calculate that space look at the picture here.so you dont care about the space above the light just under the light

ty, but what area does a 400 watt or 600 watt cover? i have a light hanger so height can be adjusted..trying to figure if i should run 2 or 3 400's or 2 600's to cover the area..
