Hello everyone

I am now on 4 th week of veg 5 On Tuesday. I propergated till 3 inches then have used 2x 600w till now on 24/7.

I'm using plant magic light mix as my grow medium and the full plant magic soil nutes including veg booster evolution.

The Moby Dick is an automatic and has been budding for one week while the others are going to be growing for another 3 week's. They're ranging from 14 to 20 inches in height while the Moby is about 12 inches. All have been topped many times as you can see in picks, some have upto 12 tops but all have more than 4.

Comments and tips appreciated although I've been growing a while still nice to have feedback.

Peace outDSC_0707.jpg DSC_0706.jpg DSC_0705.jpg DSC_0704.jpg DSC_0700.jpg DSC_0702.jpg

More picks, more tops and more height. Switching lights in ten days. Taking cutting tomorrow so all lower growth below Top 16 inches is going. Hopefully take 50cuttings all together. Seriously thinking about adding a 600w hps between the current two 600w dual specs just tor 8 week's of flower but still weighing up if it's over kill. Any tips or advise welcome. The cuttings were just my first attempt of doing cuttings so tried it out on 6 to see if they root. Peace all! To be honest I'm a lazy fuck when it comes to cloning.

I use old strawberry sundae cartons.

Fill the bottom with coco and pop a few holes in the bottom for drainage then water it.

Snip clone, plant in the coco, clip on the lid and wait lol.

It's about finding what works for you.

Interesting technique j. Hmm so In other words minimal effort is probably good for the cuttings. I've cut bottom branches Off and have then done a 45 degree angle under water then dunked in cloned rooting gel then put in solid under which is in a propergator. Hope they work as would be nice to end the seed buying :)

Well all is on track for flower I think, still don't know about adding a hps, am now almost sure it's over kill especially with electric costs. lol well just had wake and bake, so be back later. Peace j

The longer the veg the more the buds and I would top at the 5th node. Then put them right into flowering or you can veg forever and have monster trees just beware of the stretch and make sure you got room in your tent for all them.

If its your first grow assume you'll get 1oz that way anything more is a bonus just try and learn as much as you can. Better come over to the 600w forum under the indoor growing thread there is a plethora of knowledge in there and we are more than willing to help you bro.

I topped mine at the first node, as its your first grow I would say go text Book and Top when abit bigger. Your plants look green man maybe lower your ph as your using soil because the solid holds ph. I guess yield by average grow should achieve using soil 0.5grams per watt so you should achieve under 600w =300 grams, about 10.5 oz. Keep me posted on your grow tho as I love cheese if you can't tell by my photos. Peace all

300grams DRY per 600w hid, I expect 1 gram per watt now as I super crop as many times as possible and lst till about 20 inches plus, jondamon expects even more per watt as experience comes into play when improving yield. Good air circulation, correct npk and temps and you get a higher ratio of gram per watt. I've started playing with ph now like for veg stage I was using ph 6 to try keep them greener and I believe it helped loads.

Veg time all depends in how you control your environment. Over 30 degrees C and they will go slow, under 15 they also go slow. Too much water and they go slow, I try let them dry right out as it makes sense the plants get lazy if over watered. Most people would expect to achieve a reasonable amount 3 to 6 weeks veg.

What nutes are you using? How tall do you want them before you start flower? How many times do y ou u intended to top your plants? I would say add nutes with a higher N as I just looked at your picture properly and your plants are a lighter green than I go for nowadays but they do look healthy bro.

Ask away bro, I learnt alot by asking when I first started although u will learn more by experience. Goodkuck.

Peace all

Back to my grow.

Just started flower so giving the ladies 24hours dark then will start 12/12.

Smallest plant is pineapple chunk which has 10 tops and is 18inches. The Rest are all about 6 inches bigger.

Will add loads more photos once the coco cola bottle size buds start haha "I'm so excited that I just can't hide it" lol.

Alright bro well I just topped three of the five today just because I was scared since it's my first grow but.I'm using the flora nova nutes but since i just transplanted into the 5 gallon pots I figured I didn't need to feed.for a week or two is that a true fact? But I would like to have no.bigger.then 4 ft plants after flowering.

About two weeks sounds good as your medium will have nutes that should last two weeks, I usually give them two watering two one feed (what works for you).

Try top them at least twice and get to about 20inches like my grow and your four foot limit will be easily achieved. Mine won't stretch more than 10 inches never have unless I raise the lights too high or temperature is to cold. Keep me posted. Peace
