4'W x 4'L x 8' high room. equipment?

Hi all. Im in the middle of building a room (4 x 4 x . Im searching for the best most cost effecint lighting to go with. I dont want to break the bank because i am only growing for myself. No profit. No return.

Also what would be my best options for ventalition? Its in a mancave out in the garage so stealth isnt a concerne.

This is my first indoor grow so i would like to make it the best i can but without singing over my sole to pay for it.

Any and all info is great!

a 600 watt light in an air cooled hood with a 6'' fan would do the trick nicely.

Ill start looking into that. Im using HO t5s for seedlings and for veg right now untill i have the room built.

What is your price range?

You'll need at least a 400 cfm exhaust fan for starters. Your grow room is 128 cubic feet and the air needs to be exchanged around 3 times a minute.

I don't know if odor is an issue but it usually is. Carbon Filter IS A MAJOR KEY,

Also a duct muffler if you don't want it getting too loud.

Lights and growing medium are your next step.

If you wanna save on lights i reccomend using the 6500 k lights and then switiching to 3000k for flowering under the same fixture. and then upgrade on your next grow.

Look for 400 watt mh or hps used u can pick up hood and balast for around 40$ air cooled hood is over kill with 8 ft ceiling if you have an exaust fan in the room

Wow lots to think about tonight hahaha. This is grat info guys thanks so much!. I am hopeing to get everything all at once.

So for lighting most of you would agree on 400-600hps.

And a min of 400cfm fan.

My price range would be $400. I was hopeing that would get me a decent setup that i wouldnt need to mess with for a while once its dialed in.

Also as for stealth im not that concerned. I will vent it out the back of the room takeing it outside. No neighbours arround. But if i find its to much ill add a carbon filter.
