OBVIOUSLY IT WILL AFFECT YOUR YEILD. It will make buds smell and taste like hay but honestly you will still get stoned. i dont know how big you are on taste but i also have had to harvest a few crops early but mostly due to infestation reasons and i hate it because it seems that no matter what strain u do it with it always comes out smelling and tasting like hay. if you just want to get stoned then dont worry but if you want yeild, taste, smell and quality then you will have to let them go longer. hope this helpsFlowering Day 37
Real strong odor in the house now. Buds are pretty big and dripping in trichromes. I picked up a bag of sour skittles today and the similarity is just ridiculous.
Going to have to cut them down early though which is a huge shame. March 10-12th is going to be the day. Can anyone ballpark just how much that is going to affect the crop?
Im going to use an actual camera for the next couple entries. I have been using my phone so far which does have a good camera, but they tend to be blurry.
NEVER add water to it in a jar. You will end up with mold. Next time jar them before they are that dry. then open up the jar and let then air out for like 15 minutes a day, till desired dryness. then keep sealed as much as poss.Harvest, Day 43 / Curing
Hanging pics are from the harvest last week, jarring pics are from yesterday.
Went on vacation for a week, came back and the plants were really dry, which was what I would expect. After jarring, they had a really really fruity and sour smell, which is great because I expected the dreaded hay smell.
Today the fruity and sour smell is still there, but there are some hay undertones because I added just a small amount of water on the top sides of each jar to try and re-hydrate a little bit.
total weight is about 4 oz bone dry.
anyone know know a good method to moisten them up just a little bit, practically like sand at this point?
Thanks to everyone who helped me out, results came out great.
