4x4-1/2 gallon SOG (2 strains [White Rhino & Pure Power Plant])

It's been awhile since I posted a grow here. I first posted when I was just a kid haha. I recently moved into a new place with my gf and have a good chunk of the basement to use. The current set up:

Two 4x4 Tents - 1 for flowering which houses two Agromax LED Prime 155W lamps. Carbon filter with inline fan for odor control. Other tent is mother tent and has a Viparspectra 276W LED full spectrum. That tent also has an inline fan for exhaust.

One 2x4 tent for clones - This tent has a 72 tray with heat pad and dome. Also has a Growbright 36W LED bar

I currently have 4 Pure Power Plant seedlings growing and 4 White Rhino seedlings. I will select the best four (two from each strain) to be my mother plants. The other 4 I will flower out under a SCROG. I will be using FF nutes ("dirty dozen") in Hoffman organic soil with added perlite (1/3 perlite to soil ratio). From the mothers, I will be taking 16 clones every 3 weeks (likely alternating between strains) and plan to flower those clones out "lollipop" style for 12 weeks in 1/2 gallon grow bags. Will be following the standard FF feeding schedule shooting for feeding once a week. Currently looking to feed my ladies with pH of 6.2 - 6.4.

With it being winter in the Midwest and being set up in the basement, I've almost had to fight it being TOO cold, which is a new problem to tackle. I'm used to micro grows and dealing with heat, so its a refreshing change. Currently sitting at ~71F in the flowing tent and ~66F in the mom tent (exhaust fan off). I think when the heat of summer rolls around, my basement temps will be just right and I wont have any problems.

Very excited for this grow as its the most space I've ever had to use and its looking like heat will not be an issue for me. LEDs have a come a long way and I've used HID's in my previous grows so I'm really looking forward to not battling heat constantly.

310w in flower and 600w for moms?

Its really 276W for the moms. "a 600w hps equivalent"

I'd add that to the flower space

Don't know what T5s go for but I got a 100w led for like $40. Great in the 2"*2"*4" tent

Got a pair of 100w LED's for ~$35 for the mom tent. Moved my other LED into the flower tent, so both 155w and the solo 276W are now in the flower tent.

Little update. I've got 4 moms picked out. The 4 lesser looking moms will be flowered out now. So keeping 2 PPP and 2 WR, and flowering the same number.

I had to add a light to my mom tent strictly to generate heat. Was sitting at ~56F and is now at 62F. Going to be topping these soon to force some branchy-ness. 2 in the back are PPP, 2 in the front are WR. The WR are about a week behind the PPP.



I've also never done a screen before. How high should it be? Currently about 16in above the top of the bucket. It's been 7 days since 12/12 flip. The 2 taller plants diagonal of each other are WR. The Grey bucket and diagonal of it are PPP. The PPP are ~1 week behind the WR.

Move the screen to whatever height you need, that's one advantage of the stretchy screens.
The idea is to direct as much growth horizontal as possible.
You need more heat, growth will be quite slow at 70f or below

I'm hoping the spring weather will solve my temperature problems. Finally starting to warm up locally.

Topped the moms 2 days ago. Temps in mom tent have improved with the warmer weather outside to ~ 65F. The 4 in flower, I continue to push under the scrog. It's been 9 days since 12/12 flip.

Not too much happening. I defoliated the girls in flower a little bit; will hit them again in another week or so to clean them up more. Day 13 since 12/12 flip. Continue to push them down under the net. I'll try and get a pic with the lights off.



The moms appear to be doing great. Temps in the mom tent still floating around ~65F, but they dont seem to mind.
