4x8 LED Grow tent setup?

Alright guys, question for the experienced LED light grows. Which method would be better, running 4 lights all side by side, or 2 rows lengthwise? Or it won't matter?

The lights footprints are a little over 2x4 each (2.5x5 apparently)

What kind of lights, how many plants?

I would run them [ [ [ [
But it shouldn't make much difference , might be easier to hang like that though.

HLG 320 kits, they say a 2.5x5 area or something like that but Im going by the 2x4 footprint.

I'm thinking 10-12 plants, most likely 10. Got 9 on right now going to see how that goes and work it out from there. Unsure what final pot size will be at this point, I'm thinking 5-6 gal but I mean i'd rather upsize the pots if it permits rather than cram it full, growing SCROG.

I posted a similar question on a thread in another forum recently. If you look at the picture I've attached, the majority of people thought I should go with the second diagram. Which for you would be the first option you typed.

I have a 320xl kit they are bright af 4 of em should do nicely in a 4x8, I actually don’t much like my QB fixture but honestly that most likely my fault. I don’t have seperate environment control for the tent I used it in (3x3) and I don’t think the temps were high enough. And I should have supplemented with more cal mag than I did. For me it was easier just to hang the 315 back up. So if your used to growing with hid there is a bit of learning curve. That being said the fixture puts out a lot of light and a little more heat than I figured(heat seemed comparable to my 315).

And to finally answer your question I’d run em 4 like this llll.
