4x8 veg light

Probably a dumb question but are there any single lights that'll cover a whole 4x8 tray for vegging only ?

Depends on your available budget...

Can rock some 8' T5's (HO)

Depending on depth of your canopy, maybe even some T8's....

Is still just go with a pair of 4' sets, and daisy them together....

I got 3 4ft 8 bulb T5 over it now. You think 2 would get the job done ?

2 prolly can sure, but its a plant, squeeze all the light u can in my opinion...

With you planning veg only on them, u get a lot more option n play room. If 2 lights cover the footprint of the grow area.... well then rock on. If that leaves a spare, have some fun, play a bit... maybe veg a vert scrog with it, lol.

I think you've done the right thing. But if less does it then so be it and you can play around like Flagg says. That's a big veg area!
