ok so my closet is 5.5'w x 8' long i would like to do 4 trays that are 2x4 = 8x4 with a 1000w sun system yeild master 2 hood and ballaster . 4 trays mean i can introduce 10 plants ever 2-3 weeks and be able to flush at the end of flowering for the last 2 weeks with out flushing all the trays just one or two. going to use the 6x6 rockwool cube or 6" net pots and clay pellits flood and drain system. not sure on the nute.any advice would be great please tell me what you guys think of this idea??????????????????

Is cutting it kind of close. You've got 44sqft, so if you're using 1000W MH you're getting about 2200 Lumens per sqft. HPS you're getting about 3400 Lumens per sqft (which would be on the lower end of "sufficent").

ID consider using 2 600's, space out the light a bit more, more efficient.

sorry .....misunderstanding .... im growing in a 4x4.5 area and feel like ive maximized the area i can sufficiently give good light to my plants. i have some on the sides that are streching cuz they arent receiving what they want . my buddy uses light movers and always has stretched skinnier plants u would be better off with 2 1000s or 2 600s.i dont know if you can tell but check it out

hey timmmy my bro has a 4x8 table and had a 1000watt hps on it and didnt like it.need more light. he went to 2 600 watt hps and loves it his crop is about 15-20% more then before. you can do it with one 1000 but it just wont be the same.

ive used a 1000 and a 600 with a 8x4 and every week would rotate the plants,it was a perfect set up i thought because you could not match the intencity of the 1000,but every one kept telling me to get my lights of equal size and i did,so what im saying if you dont have a buyer for the 1000 instead of takeing a big loss just add a 600 untill then if you can and if you want,im not sure if you bought the lkight mover already if you have not use the money for a 600.

you cant go wrong either way, both work fine, just i find the 1000,s just light up a space like no other.it gives you the biggest buds in my experience but i could be wrong, but ive done them both many times.
