OK STOP NOW. Addding to much can completely fuck up your soil.
Im not sure how much because ive only used it twice. The first was when i made my own soil mix. I completely fucked that up cuz i added to much and the soil was ridiculously hard to manage. I transplanted to pro mix and the girls thrived.
The second time was as a nutrient additive to stabilize ph and it builds up and fucks with the soil too much. i would recomend a buffed soil like pro-mix or fox farms, these soils are normally pre buffered with enough lime to last a plant at lease 3 months in a pot.
As far as finding out the correct way to do it, you can search some threads. I know there was one on here about 3 years ago that i read but im not gonna find it for you.
Just remember where you are at man. THis is the web so every recipe you get isnt going to be good, or right for you. This is a volatile soil ammendment and you can fuck up good quick with dolomite lime.
Check out my ph thread to learn how to ph correctly. You probably should get a GH ph up down kit so that you can correct that way. I feel that that might be a better solution that dolomite.
You also may want to reconsider repotting into a buffered soil like pro mix or fox farm.
