I think T should have cloned his DQ. It looks like one of the rare "ones"..... I just hope to find a stand out, but fuck it I wouldn't turn down a "grail" I would share it with the world.....

yeah man i was just lookin at T's and those big shiny tric's just dont seem to be going amber, n it seems like its been going for ages but maybe im wrong my sense of time is gash

His plant is way to far gone for cloning. All the leaves are burnt to shit. I doubt that thing would even reveg if he left the lower branches on and put it back on 18/6

man i dunno i know some of the leaves are crispy fried but stranger things have happened some of the lower branches might be lol your probably right

I put 8 SD's in soil 2 nights ago. They all look good. I had one of the DQ5 that I put in a tray and one of the JCII #2 die on me in about 48-72 hours. I replaced them but now I am going to have to wait for them to catch up to the others with their root developement though. I am pulling 2 trays tonight but one is the JTR#2 and I don't expect any more than 1/4-O dry off both plants. The other has 2-SD and 2-Ch#2. Hardly any trimming as I start pulling off the big fan leaves 1 week before harvest so I don't have to deal with them all at once.
I still haven't gotten any roots on the 2 new Vortex or the GF. I'm thinking that if a clone takes I might flower the mom's and grow the clone out into another plant. I'll get some pic's of them later when I chop chop...

I left the JTR's for 2 more weeks and it didn't make any difference at all. They were still wispy and I'm still convienced I did the right thing by killing the mom. The lemon smell is killer though.
The cloner is in need of a shut down and cleaning. I was going to go with rooting plugs but stayed with my areo cloner for now. I put new SD's in 2 trays 2 days ago and they look great. I also have a tray full of my DQ #5. The rest are a mix of what ever was rooted.
I put a pic of the DQ#6 in there. It is starting to fill it's self back in. 2 pic's of the flower room, one with out flash and one with. There's a few nice bud shots of the SD and a few of the Ch#2. I put a pic of the tray that got chopped tonight in there too.
The JTR#2 is wispy and airy. Some of my shots grabbed onto the form of the bud but didn't give you the depth you need to see how airy they were so I took some more. You can see all the resin on my finger tips from trimming the other plants. Again this plant has been removed and the mom cut down.
Some pic's of the DQ#5 tray. The short plant on the far right is the JCII#1 pheno. Can you tell it didn't have the root system established before I put the tray in to flower? Some nice close ups of some of it's buds. They have 2 more weeks or so.
I am going to be chopping this tray next week so I preped the plants tonight by taking off all the large fan leaves. It will stay for a week and come down next Wednesday. This shortens the time I have to spend on them trimming after harvest. A lot of the leaves have resin on them and could just be trimmed close to the bud but I am almost at an O of trimmings. I think I'll be putting most of the JTR in there too. I want to try it's smoke again to see how much it improved after those extra 2 weeks.

i really like your tray out tray in system keeps everything nice an uniform when youve got your strain times down pat i imagine till you know exactly how long their going to take it can be a bit hasslesome ?

It took a long time to fill every row of the flower room and know when to put in and when to take out but I know now that these plants will take 9-10 weeks. It is working pretty well right now but my cloning system has the potential to out perform the flower room. I shutter to think what I'd be dealing with if I didn't leave the cloner off a few times. I was taking twice as many clones as I needed and they were rooting quickly. I've cut back on the number of clones I take at one time now. I find I loose about 1-2 out of 10 so I don't take them so sften and have started taking bigger cuts because I'm letting the moms veg longer before I take the cutting.
The tray idea was one of my more brilliant ideas. I was watching several SOG gardens and even grew my first grow in pots. They were big and didn't fit in the space very well so I couldn't get that many plants in. I was also growing them a lot bigger, taking about 1-2 O's per plant. With this new method my yeild per plant (other than the SD) has been replaced with my yeild per tray. Now I get about 2-3 O's per tray. The trays were thrown in and out on Wednesdays. I sometimes put in 2 trays and sometimes I only put in one. It was depending on how many rooted clones I had and if I couldn't fill a tray then I would leave them for next time.
Now they go in on the left and move right as they get taken out. The light on the left is 6" lower than the one on the right and I have the UV lights shining toward the right in the middle of the 2 lights. I feel like the plants get hit hard with it as they are directly under it like they would as the summer moves in replacing the spring and as they move farther to the right they get farther away getting less of the waves and acting more like fall. Maybe it doesn't make any dif. I don't know.
It took up til just a few weeks ago to start making this perpetual. I now spend less time messing with them as I have a routine. I still have the 2 dehumidifiers running and every 3 days I water. It takes 5 gallons to do just the flower room and another 3 gallons to do the moms. So I do the moms one night and then take the water from the dehumidifiers and refill my bucket so I can water the flower room the next night. I sometimes don't get enough from them so I take tap water and mix it in. I have 2 bubble stones in the water to add O and churn the chemicals out of the tap water.
Other than the nights that I just want to spend a lot of time in my garden I'm in and out during the commercials. I usually take a few hours like I did last night trimming the harvest and prepping the next batch for harvest next week. I also spend about an hour when I empty and refill the trays with new soil and put the new clones in. So all in all my bud per hour wages have more than trippled due to the effiency of this system.....

you sound a lot like me i do a lot in commercials too hahaah unless im harvesting which can see me sitting up till the early hours in my dressing gown stinking the house up, the missus went mental last time i chopped the clothes that were hanging in the same room stank of dank. so much so her workmates noticed. thought it was stale beer thankfully their all straight laced eh
i really like the uv in the middle idea so it better imitates the real sun/season, im thinking of upping my game to uv and under canopy cfl's when i move in the new year
i was wondering about using the water in my dehumidifier but didnt cos i thought it would have no oxygen in it, i do have an airstone tho, i wonder how much difference between tap thats sat for 24hrs and dehumidified water.

Tap water will have ppm already in it. Dehumidified water is pulled from evaporated water in the air there for can't carry the contanimates other than the dust that gets sucked through the coils. I do it because I can use it right now. I don't have to let it air the chem's out I just ph and apply.

I had a friend come over today and brought his wife. He was over about a week or so ago and I got him high on the JCII #1. He did 2 bong hits and his wife said when he came home he didn't talk for like 2 hours and finally she asked him what was wrong and he said nothing why? She said you've been home for 2 hours and haven't said anything. He looked at his watch and was like fuck! he thought it had only been like 20 minutes.
I loaded up the bong with a big bud of the JCII #2 and handed it to them. He started and passed to her. By the time she handed it back he said he could feel it moving into his skull and didn't want to take another hit but we called him a pussy and he took it. But when he went to pass it back to his wife she was sooo baked she wouldn't take another hit. Awww, good times.....

That sir is the Snow Dawg. The only complaint (if you can call it one) is that it is to much of a body stone rather than the clear energetic high of the JC's and the Ch's
I was reading up on some of Subs old threads and found that he breed the airy traits of the haze out of the JTR but it seems that we are showing that there is still a throw back in there. You may be supprised with the high but will hate the yeild. I haven't smoked any of the ones I let go for 10 weeks but they are still wispy and 20% amber. So as soon as it cures up a little I'll let you know if the extra time made any dif but for me the first go of it was enough to say I didn't want to keep it around.

I was really wishing to get some of that SD .... but the DQ was a suitable path as well. Yeas I know I coulda/shoulda cloned the DQ but I really am just not sset up for it and considering my circumstances I don't wanna be set up for it at the moment ... that time will come. She would have been a very good candidate though huh?!

All it would have taken would have been a single cube of rockwool and a small CFL..... It's a shame just for the fact that it looks sooooo good.... Did you breed it?
