Did you know that 5% of Americans can not point to the continent of America on a map ? They just dont know what the shape of America looks like ...And before any one says yeah 5 % of Americans are legally blind this study was done with able bodied non vision impeared people ...

I just think it's wierd that eople wouldnt know what or where there own country is located ...

Oh yeah and they wernt toddlers ... They were mature adults ...

yeah sounds about right for highschool, but i did learn a thing or two and i sure as hell could find the usa on a map, stoned, frying, and tweeked.
 
Yeah, and think how clueless American's are about Canada, when I travel to America, you ask someone about Canada, they have no idea what they're talking about let alone know that we're right by them..
 
you forgot to mention that at least 51 percent of Americans are retarded...and yes...i am a natural born US citizen...we re elected bush right?...lol

I would hope that number would be 100% couldn't.

There is no continent called America! Unless you are referring to continent of North America vs. South America - or can they not find the Americas (both North and South America together) - or the country The United States of America?
 
I'm sorry I didn't know we had to be so frickin specific with you. there is no other country in the world that call themselves AMERICANS except for of course the U.S. some of you guys even tell us "ya, we speak american". But really its called english. Now that is fucked up. when people say america with no south or north before it, they are usually reffering to U.S.

P.S. A map is a map is a map. those people were dumb they pointed america where australia was just because U.S. was written on australia. If it had no names on the map they would have been just closing there eyes and just pointed, hoping it was right. Don't forget the link I sent Mark Dice beauty vs. brains.

No need to be touchy - If someone asked me to locate the continent of America on a map I would reply that I couldn't because it does not exist. I think 5% is a low number. That means that 95% can locate it, and quite frankly that impresses me.

You are 100% correct that we speak english but it can be said that we Americans speak a different dialect of English than the U.K. which can be called American.
Certainly within the u.s. there are several dialects as well (i.e. southern, north-east)

I think it shows pure ignorance when Americans say that they speak American (i.e. "All these foreigners come to our country and they cant even speak American!"). It makes me roll my eyes every time.

ok now i live in switzerland which is in europe (in case you didnt know ;) )
and ANYBODY and I mean anybody from age 14 up COULD ANSWER those questions with out even thinking about it.

now im american but I say this... 70% of americans are COMPLETE MORONS (the other 30% are all on RIU) americas education system sucks sooo bad it hurts. and its not just me sry to say but:
