Untrue. I've traveled to Indonesia (that country that has the world's largest Muslim population)and we were greeting very warmly when I told folks that we were Americans. It's not America/Americans they hate, it's the government's campaign of Empire they despise.

Truth be told, I was somewhat offended when our Austrian hosts referred to the Indonesian men who worked at the resort as "Boy". I can't imagine that the men liked it anymore than I did either. We also witnessed an Australian woman who ran a liveaboard dive boat anchored offshore from our resort physically beating a young indonesian man, who worked for her, for not following directions to her liking...right there on the beach in front of everyone.

At least we Americans own up to the fact we still have racial issues.
 
And its goin to be a third world country in our lifetime too,LOL. 600 of your starbucks has closed because no one can afford a 5 dollar coffee when the bank is taking away there house, car, loans.

Americans are king of consumption, king of credit king of bullying, king of weapons and entertainment but thats it, nuthing more nuthing less. buy buy buy, want want want, the bigger the better. spend before you make. Earn 100 spend 1000. live pay cheque to pay cheque with at least maxed out credit cards in there wallet/purse.

I just feel sorry for the good americans that live there that have the majority of america making them look bad.

THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! It is so GOOD to hear there are people in this world that KNOW there are GOOD AMERICANS! NON IGNORANT AMERICANS! Americans that are paying the price for the majority's greed and need for material things. Things are so fucked up here it's looking bleak... The only answer is REVOLUTION! Ron Paul would have turned this country around. Especially in the Eyes of the rest of the world.

There are REAL AMERICANS that believe in the US Constitution and DEMOCRACY. Real Americans aren't for World Policing and Invading other countries. I LOVE my Country but I HATE my Government and our "MAINSTREAM CULTURE". It's shallow, meaningless, CRAP.

most americans are good. but they arent as interesting as the americans that are horrible.
we are just another country in the world. a land of individuals who cannot be generalized. happy american independence day! lets get drunk and cook meat and blow shit up!
 
high school is not a joke. you learn as much as you TRY to learn. unless you have horrible teachers the whole time, then you learn as much as you teach yourself. Either way, a person can be ignorant, but it is usually by choice.
 
Cannaseur...thats y everyone wants to come to american!!..and highschool is a joke..it personally was a waste of time..i would just go there and sleep, bullshit, and party..and i still graduated..and got into college..
 
ron paul would have saved our country. too bad obama is just going to make it worse. i would happily take my own life if ron paul could some how be our leader...

100 percent of sound minded europeans could answer those questions. Including myself. Most people are very nice, friendly and smart on this site but any other experiences I have had with americans in the real world have been a disaster. One of the americans was teacher in the states, and I'll tell you I have never ever met a more stupid, small minded ignorant person in my life. God help those poor children who have to listen to her 5 days of the week. This girl moved into a room in our old house and needless to say myself and my girlfriend moved out 2 weeks later. I just couldn't listen to her. No offence intended at all. There are a lot of americans I would love to meet and I'm sure there are a lot of cool characters over there. I'm just yet to meet one in person..
