Well it's not Iron deficiency. Magnesium could be an issue but if it is, it's not the only one. By itself, Mg def shouldn't cause that sort of leaf curl. There might be signs of heat stress in the pic. What are the temps? Every three days is probably too often to water. Make sure when you water that the soil at the bottom of the pot gets moistened. Watering slowly helps give the liquids time to spread throughout the soil before just running out the bottom. You want a handful of soil to only drip a few drops when squeezed. Wait until about the top third of the soil is bone dry before watering again.

I wouldn't call Epsom Salts food, more of a micronutrient supplement. Molasses I'd call a soil sweetener. When was the last time you gave them your regular fertilizers?

And you two aren't the only ones. We don't use premixed fertilizers and prefer to make fresh stuff, but I've seen more than a few people have troubles with that brand. For people who don't have the time to make teas, growers appear to have fewer/less intense feeding problems when using the Fox Farms liquid mixes than with some others.

last nute feed was 6 days ago, topped up 2 days ago with epsom and molasses roughly 500ml's
just fed till tiny runoff with plain tap, both took 1 1/4 L's
i normally hand weigh the pots, succesful till had to add another 7 ladies from clone stock, now i am trying to balance so i dont have to individually water every day.
should be nute feed next, was thinking half bio-bizz schedule and see.
as for N def the leaves are 2/3rds up the main cola, wouldnt N def start at bottom?
cheers for all replies

thanks again

Text book Magnesium deficiency.

Perhaps as a result of nutrient imbalance rather than low levels of magnesium. I suggest you try and tune back your calcium and potassium usage for a little while and see if this improves the uptake of magnesium. Also, taking your pH to closer to 6.6 in the soil will help make the Mg more available.

Damage done is damage done. Just make sure nothing new shows up. Your plant probably just doesn't need the bloom food at full strength.

I have the same thing happening to a couple of my plants. I assume it is nutrient burn. I think this because I can see some nutrients not washing off the entire root system after a spray...I just flush the system.

that looks a hell of a lot like magnesium defficency, but i dont think its a deffeciency in the soil, more like a nutrient or pH lock up, since you said you were using epsom salt. id suggest possibly flushing the soil and if that doesn't work try uping the epsom. but for some reason or another it doesn't seem to be getting the nitrogen to the plant.

I'm growing on a aeroponic table. I flushed my system for 24hrs and it seemed to stop the problem. I know a soil flush is a different story so good luck!
