Thank you... I'm in the middle of my first grow, and i've been dying to see what can be done with led's, you're plant looks huge... mine is about 3 and a half feet under three cfls. and she's been growing for about 4 months. 3 weeks flowering.
I hope to god you get more than an eighth. cause if not, I'd be lucky to get a fucking gram.

I can't wait to see your harvest.

get a 400w hps. Else, with those cfl's your bud will grow wispy. Very light.

i agree about the cfls...i have 4-48in floro tubes and 2-42w cfl's and 1-26w cfl in my grow area and my buds are tiny compared to any ive seen with the good lights

cfls are fine for growing, the work best for Vegging and they are just OK for flowering. Not all buds come out fluffy, mine all came out VERY DENSE except for my sativa but the only reason why it was fluffy was bcuz of genetics, but since I upgraded to an HPS Ive noticed my plants growing a lot larger in a shorter amount of time compared to when I used CFL's

All im saying is if you use enough of thosel ittle lights youll get nice decent yeild. example, look at this guys which is asking help for harvest. hes got huge fat colas with just a cfl grow. i think ill do fine for my first budding time. i got 10 cfls. cant wait to see the results.:blsmoke:

What was your medium, container size and veg' time?

Then tell me the yield.

Miracle grow potting mix for medium
2 gallon pots
30 days veg under four 26W CFL's
8.5 weeks flowering for the indicas, 11.5 weeks for the sativa's under seven 26W CFL's and two 42W CFL's

I harvest in sections and this is what I cut down the first harvest

it was only slightly fluffy but thats bcuz of the genetics, I still probably yielded close to 5-6oz (wet) from this one plant.

what was left on the plant

after a week of drying, probably close to 2.5oz dry

after it was fully dry it got even more dense, heres a shot I just took a few mins ago of one of the lower "popcorn" buds after drying and curing

I see. so why a 30 day veg' in a 2 gallon container? This is a mega waste of container space. You should achieve the same in a one gallon container. I grow in one gallon containers, hydro and a 4 week veg', I expect 1.5 to 2oz per plant, dry, or 7.5 to 10oz wet per plant.

The great Soma, master breeder grows in soil, in one gallon containers with organic nutes. Yet this master only pulls from 0.5 oz to 1oz per plant.

Yet, and I'm not saying you, you'll get guys on here with nowhere near his level of experience growing in soil with only a 4 week veg' and claiming yields twice the size.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I think I let her to much vegging time! Next time I'll switch to 12/12 when they are 12-15inch!

the buds look like they are coming along nicely though... you've still got plenty of time.

so ur saying I should have less than an oz from a single plant just bcuz I vegged for only 30 days? thats not a fair assumption, I dont believe the final yeild has anything to do with how long u veg, more so genetics, light intensity, and methods of growing.

I would quit growing if I couldnt grow more than .5 - 1oz per plant, its not worth the hassle when I can buy an oz of primo for just over $100

and I do have approxomately 2.5oz there on that booklet, I dont own a scaleyet but Im sure that I have more than 2oz

i only vegged for 30 days bcuz i used cfls and they have very poor penetration, if i woulda done a scrog on it I wouldnt worry about the canopy being too thick

also, I didnt use 2 gallon pots during veg, I had them in .5 gallon pots during veg and transplanted them into 2 gallon containers to flower/finish in.
