55 Gallon Help.

Quick question if I have a res at 25 gallons filled in 55 gallon reservoir.I mixed my nutes at 1/4 strength. So my hypothetical question; say I wanted to have my nute strength go from 1/4 strength up to half strength, is it ok for me to top off the nutes directly into the res without having to dump and starting with a fresh res fillup?

so from what i gather you have a 55 gallon drum and you put 25 gallons of liquid / nutes a 1/4 str into it. and you want to amp it up for 1/2 str nutes and you wan to know if you can just add in the nutes to bring it up to 1/2 str or if you need to mix a whole new batch of nutes

-What nutes are you using ( some need to be mixed in a certain order )
-Did you just fill the reservoir or has it been running / being used
-Do you have a PPM meter / a PPM range you are staying in
-Be careful if you do just add more in to monitor the PH

I had just filled the res. prior to posting by maybe a few hours. I was noticing yellowing of the lower leaves ( N deficiency?) So I wanted to bump up from 1/4 strength to 1/2 strength. I logged everything. I did and what ppms and what ph. I can't grab the log now however it's in an area where the lights absolutely dont get turned on at this hour. As soon as I wake up and lights are on I will copy my log onto the forum as well as pictures maybe get some pointers and help. I know that I have my ppm at a little over 200 at 1/4 strength. I did get a user message me to go ahead and bump it up to half strength after they asked me some probing questions before they answered. Now that I am half strength I know my ppm was at a little over 420 and rebalanced ph to 5.5-5.6 one of those two can't remember off top exactly.

Bring pH up to 5.8!
Let the pH rise to 6.1 before adjusting down to 5.8/5.9......Look below to see the P and Mg your missing out on/causing your problem! Low pH is worse then high Ph in hydro..
