OKAY! I don't like when plants take a long time to break soil, so I become skeptical. I unearthed the 2 in the back who haven't broken soil to see whats up.

The first picture shows one of them
The second picture is the other one.

I feel like the first one I needed to dust away SOME of the dirt. I quickly put a dust layer over it after the picture, and the other one I buried a little deeper, but I don't think its going to break soil.

Also, I need ideas for names. I got 2 who are growing big with no names, and 2 who might break soil. Anyone got any ideas for my girls?

They're all bag seed, so I don't know what genetics they will follow.

Your girls already have 5 finger leafs?! Mine are still indistinguishable to me. Damn I can't wait to use my HPS! :bigjoint:

Be careful working with it around the girls man, Mines a bitch to adjust. I just leave it a few inches higher than I need it to cut down on adjustment needs.

Oh no doubt man! I had to balance 3 boards with 2 CFLs floating around a big ass sativa. Its difficult and I ended up burning my babies a little more then I would have if they were on one board.

I wonder if I can hang my HPS vertically in the reflector... :/ Maybe hitting the side of the plant and reflecting it back to the reflector and back, might give pretty damn good results? Ah I don't know :joint: I smoke alot, weird ass ideas sometimes.

HAH! I just realised why reflectors around your grow area is a good idea. I need to find some silvery wrapping paper and go crazy one night in my flowering room.

Okay, first and foremost. Thank you all who PM'd me a nickname. Guess I just needed to ask huh lol.

Its day 7 for Flower, and OH BOY! She looks so great, the spacing on her nodes is just a thing of beauty in my eyes.
Its also day 3 for Carmella, Lady, and Fuddles. They're all so big its shocking.
Carmella is still the smallest out of the group of 4. She's the closest to the light though, so no stretching and her leaves are always perked up. I think she'll turn out real pretty.
Lady, is the tallest. She's also the largest leaf wise. She's furthest away from the light at base. Her leafs have some yellow around the edges. Probably because there had been no nutes as of then.
Fuddles, named for her clumsy start under ground haha! She's second biggest but the furthest behind growth wise. I'm hoping for big things from fuddles, thinking fuddles will either give me some sticky icky icky, or it'll be a male giving my girls some lower sticky icky icky.

I started giving them nutes today, MG All Purpose 24-8-16, at 1/16th tsp for one gallon of tap water sat out overnight. I do this in response to Ladys yellow tipped leaf, and I started my last grow early on nutes aswell. I'm going to watch for burn or anything bad, doubt it though.

Pic 09: All 4, 2 of my seedlings haven't sprouted yet.
Pic 10: My lighting system for veg situations. Every set of 2 can drop down independently of the others.

Flower just doesn't want to get any closer to that light, I have her 3/4 of an inch away from the light. She's LOVIN it! But you are right Newport, I just fed her some nutes and hopefully she listens and starts making me adjust those lights a bit. I shouldn't be this comfortable with having the light so close to her! :O

If you have to pull it back a little bit. I could get mine about 4" off the tops but I keep it at about 8 just to make them reach out for it. That way, When I top, LST, Etc. I have more breather room (Side effects of prozac is tremors...Imagine trying to top...)

Ouch! Yeah I'm hoping to get them to 6 nodes tall and FIM the majority of them and LST one of em.

LST wouldn't be on one of my first two (Carmella/Flower) because I have them right on that light for no space between nodes.
I'll LST and top one of the ones in the further away section (Lady/Fuddles) and FIM the other one.
This is assuming that I get 4 females.

But I'll adjust accordingly to which of them have male pre flowers and which are female. But thats the plan if I get 100% female.

I plan on starting to top as soon as the 6th node starts to sprout out. Il probably top all of them one, Jizzy maybe twice and get 8 tits on her.

Okay guys, its day 8 now. :peace:

Pics 01-02: Flower
Pics 03-04: Carmella
Pics 05-06: Lady
Pics 07-08: Fuddles
Pic 09: Everyone.

You know, Flower is looking very yellow. I'm not sure why, I think I'll up her nutes next time I water her.

Carmella is covered in frosty frost like a WW or something crazy and thick like she is. MMMMMmmmmmm :bigjoint:

Lady is yellowing tips of its leaves. Its because of how big its growing. Definitely growing the fastest and the largest. Its leaves spread twice the length of Flower almost.

Fuddles is looking water logged. Shes also the only one with pure soil without seed start mix. So I think I need to pay different attention to her, I don't like droopy leaves.

Have a great day everyone :peace:

I don't know, I'm more inclined to think it might be a N deficiency.
"2) Leaves are a uniform yellow or light green; leaves die & drop; growth is slow. Leaf margins are not curled-up noticeably. >> Nitrogen(N) deficiency."
But I'll watch the next watering (probably late sunday/early monday) and be ready for a flush. I'm glad to see more faces in here! I'll go check out your thread right now.

Day 9s a rollin by!

Sorry for the bad pictures on Fuddles, I'm in a bit of a rush. Got a long day ahead of me. Going to hold off on the watering until I get back, and maybe by then I'll see some more cases of deficiency (Like what I see in Lady today).

Pics 01-02: Flower
Pics 03-04: Carmella
Pics 05-06: Lady
Pics 07-08: Fuddles

Flower is still miniture compared to everyone, she's growing upwards though and her leaves are distinguishing themselves. I'm still excited and confident she will grow up big!

Carmella, she is now the star in my eyes in this grow. She's obviously going to be an amazing smoke. So icy! Mmmm. Fuck, I can't look at pictures of her. Makes me smokey wanting.

Lady is really tall and showing light green at the edges. She is also the widest of everyone, quickly tucking up to her lights and pointed in the exact direction of the light, its cool to watch how I turn her away and in 10 mins she faces the lights again.

Fuddles, looks the same to me. I don't like fuddles too much.

Hey wanted let ya know I have a skunk #1 that is 8 days old its doing good growing very fast
Post some pictures man! I've looked at your CFL thread and I didn't see anything that young thats up to date!

Newport always a pleasure to see ya in here.

ANYWAYS, guys/gals, later.:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

A quick bump, thought I'd share a oversight. It turns out Flower and Lady are both starting to get their next set of leaves. Which means Lady is growing REAL fast, and has REAL big fan leaves. I'm excited, Carmella and Fuddles need to catch up. But honestly Carmella can take her time, I think she's my favorite now. STEP IT UP FLOWER.

EDIT: LADY WAS JUICING TO GET BIG?!
Alrighty all jokes aside, seems like Lady has a slight bit of nute burn (N). Oh should I say big bit of nute burn from this mornings watering. Would it be alright if I leave it be, or do I HAVE to flush it?

I ask and am hesitant to flush this early for 2 reasons.
1: They're so young!
2: My water is naturally 8.1-8.3ph.... So that means alot of vinegar mixing. But I will do it if more damage will come of my plant.
